Player Rodrigo Bentancur

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

look at the pass and move from Bentancur from the edge of our area to the edge of theirs. What other midfielder at the club can do this?

I hope Skipp can develop that side of his game more because he has the ability to do it. Absolutely no way does Winks do what Bentancur did in that video. Pass the ball and then move forward into space instead of backwards or sideways.

It's what we've been missing badly and hopefully Skipp and Bentancur combined give us that.

Could be a monster for us. Gets all over the park, very powerful, technically top draw, positionally smart in terms of breaking up play and covering.

Even if he has a bad game he is looks the type to get stuck in and make it hard for the opposition. To many of our players go missing in games but he seems the type to alway be involved.

I must admit to being a bit nervous when I heard that Fabio Paratici had needed to go back to Juventus to sign the players.

But at £15m or was it £16m (payable over 3 years) to get Bentancur who at age 24 has lots of experience but also could be around for years, I think he's grabbed a real bargain. And an 18 month loan for Kulusevski with an option to buy for a 21 year old is equally astute. So January window imo was pretty successful

Watching the match I just assumed it was kulusevski who covered the most ground. I wasn’t far off. 13kms is a lot though. Isn’t about 11km usually the average.

Perhaps the average of longest runners in all the PL clubs.
Eriksen used to typically Spurs best performer with 11 point something. So 13 Km is going hat extra mile (or kilometer ! )

Eriksen used to get praise for 10k a match. I never understood why, that isn't hard. And I think his sprint frequency was average/low.

I hope Skipp can develop that side of his game more because he has the ability to do it. Absolutely no way does Winks do what Bentancur did in that video. Pass the ball and then move forward into space instead of backwards or sideways.

To be fair , I think Skippy will learn a lot from playing with Bentancur , can only benefit his progression

Confirms what I saw, both Bentancur and Kulusevski made a big impression for us at ManCity - and blended right into the team. Impressive to be so ready directly after joining

It's great that both new signings are good at grafting. A refreshing change too from at least one of our outs in January...

Interesting to see if Kulusevski matches the distance Eriksen used to cover (it was always a surprisingly high amount for someone who isn't the quickest) but with an actual ability to get stuck into tackles.
