It's even weirder when you consider that Lange has Wolves playing thrilling football in the actual EPL. Listen everyone who's conscious knows who our next coach is if Conte walks.

And Genesio is not trading Rennes for Everton.

Obviously people want Poch back (and he seems to want to come back). But Genesio is a good name to keep an eye on. I think that he would be a really good Spurs coach one day.

Is that exotic (european) for 'Genesis'....... Wouldn't that just be the ultimate in hipster football names!

Had a mate called Bernie Slonina at school.
Didn't see him for 25 years then bumped into him in a pub. Then amazingly three days later I saw him again. I was at Beckenham golf course with a driver in my hand about to tee off and he walked past on the way to the club house cafe.
"What are you doing here?" he asked.:p
I thought you would end the story with him telling you that he had moved to the USA and was the father of Gabriel Slonina and then showing you a pic of his stunning wife, Mrs. Slonina😁

LOL.
When you are standing on a tee on a golf course with a golf club in your hand and somebody asks why you are there was very funny at the time. I suppose I could have said I was waiting for a bus.

Mendes is always looking for a payday - as greed can never get enough.
But I hope Levy is man enough this time to sort out the most pressing issues immediately after the season-ending - namely whether Conte and Kane will be staying or not.
Has he been asked by the club to look for alternatives or just the greedy fucker putting it about? Indirectly his actions make out that Kane is leaving. It’s not for him to dictate any of this! What is he stilll doing hanging around our club. He needs to be banished.

The weirdest rumour yet.

Granted, considering how volatile Conte can be I don't fault them for keeping tabs on some possible successors. And Genesio is class so I would be very happy with him. His Lyon side was a big thorn in PSG's side, and his Rennes side is a great watch.

That being said, hopefully Conte at least sees out his contract before we have to look for a replacement.

OMG this would be awesome! We could get MS back after his successful stint at Watford and provide KW a soft landing for his twilight years of brainfartiness. Can you imagine the torment? And you'd have to figure in another relegation season elsewhere...

How good is he in organizing the defence ?

Is he another Bielsa who plays "attacking football" but leaves the back unprotected to get smashed by 3-4 goals in PL every game eventually ?

Definitely not a Bielsa. Both his Lyon and Rennes teams were/are good defensively. His current Rennes team has scored 104 goals and conceded only 53 this season. He's also a set piece coach, both offensively and defensively. And able to rotate between multiple formations. His Lyon team switched between a 4-3-3, a 4-2-3-1 and a 3-5-2 according to Transfermarkt. His Rennes team seems to rotate between the 4-3-3, 4-2-3-1 and a 4-4-2 depending on their opponent.
