He's not even been charged, which shows how fucked the system is. How can it take almost a year to gather evidence to charge him? Every day he has this hanging over his head. Should either be charged or released.
It's not as if it's a particularly complex case to build.

I don't remember people being so eager to offer the "Innocent until proven guilty" defence when players not linked to us have been accused of wrongdoing...

I’m not well read on the Bissouma case but this is what I’ve understood
- incident happened in a night club
- I read somewhere that Bissouma was allegedly a witness to a potential sexual assault. But this seems to have started on the interwebz and was not necessarily grounded in fact.
- Bissouma and an acquaintance were cautioned by police.
- Bissouma and an acquaintance were charged by police and then released on bail
- subsequently the charges and need for bail were dropped. But the police said he was still under investigation.
It would be highly unusual for police to drop charges against someone, subsequently investigate further and decide to charge the person again. Police are very careful before they drop charges.
On a separate but related matter, interesting to note that Ronaldo was already charged with rape when ManU signed him. Bissouma is not in the same position.

Yup said before, mate went through the same thing, went through a sexual assault case which was absolute BS but they didn't even charge him, just kept pending the investigation for 6-7 months, guy couldn't leave the country and they took his phone away...all for them to say they're dropping the charges due to lack of evidence, utter BS.
That said, I keep my socks and Ys in my top drawer so I suppose I could be saying that I think he's pants.

I’m a bit confused on this Bissouma case, is sexual assault considered to be touching/kissing someone without consent or is it straight up rape? Because there’s a massive difference between the two and even if he was to be charged with something as grabbing a woman’s ass, although obviously wrong, I personally wouldn’t classify him as a shit stain of a human being.
