they had an option to buy torreira from Woolwich for 15M this summer. they offered 7M
it's not a serious club
Perhaps that offer was just based on what they thought he was worth after the loan.....

I think if Conte want's him then we will be close, just turned 23 (July) an International, and one hell of a player.
Would make a change to beat Chelsea, United, Scouse and City to the signature of talented player for once.
They didn't need to spend? They got Dybala and Wijnaldum on a free, and Zeki Celik for a very small price. You do realise teams don't spend if they don't have to?

I know. Not so long ago the likes ofChelsea’s supposed implosion post-Roman is nothing like as funny as I was hoping it would be.
My only hope is that when they get it wrong in the transfer market, they will suffer like a normal club, as they haven't got some mad cunt Russian willing to lose a billion quid or so.I know. Not so long ago the likes ofAirfixx and others were discussing which of their players we'd be cherry picking this summer!
:contefacepalm2:
Any money this cunt get wrapped up before Spurs, starts and has the game of his life. Chelsea luck all over against us.
Oh for god sake.
I'm actually moving to Valencia in October and was hoping to catch some of their games at the Mestalla...
I'd rather watch Arthur, so I hope they pull their fingers out.
Agreed....

No, just misspelt them
because in those years the EPL was something near to the actual MLSThere's a number of Italians there but only a few were truly good.
And the best (Zola) joined Chelsea t 30 years old.
Outside of that, Vialli was 32. Di Canio was 28 when he went to Celtic and was probably chased out of Italy. Ravanelli was 28 and left after a year.
There's just not a good record of young, prime age Italians leaving Italy to come to the PL that turn out to be real decent players.
