Knives already out...

Well, the players are correct.

Only an idiot would try to play Ajax possession football with the likes of McTominay, Fred, Maguire etc. Sancho & Rashford have regressed so far they look scared of the ball. Ronaldo is now a goal hanger who wants out, poisoning team morale.

De Boer at Palace clearly didn't have the players to implement the Ajax style. ETH has spent the summer either buying Ajax-affiliated players (Lisandro Martinez, Eriksen) or trying to buy them (de Jong, Antony, Timber) at inflated prices. But a small CB and an ageing Eriksen are not enough.

Personally, I hope manure pay crazy money for a couple of players ETH desperately wants, and then sack him before Xmas. Necessitating another rebuild, with the type of players the new coach wants, and ETH's deadwood on ridiculous salaries & long term contracts crippling their ability to rebuild.

One thing that is 1005 certain is that they do not care about the Club, the only care they have is earning money. To this end they could stay just as they are because they get paid handsomely every single year but equally to sell for +$6b they also stand to make $6b (seeing as they bought the Club for $0). I don't know enough about their other affairs outside of Utd but +$6b profit is not to be sniffed at too.

I think stadium redevelopment is the key in this. Do the Glaziers want to do it? Would someone spend $6bn on them then have to spend over a billion quid on a new stadium. I think they might just because of the vast revenues the club pulls in, but any new owner would be buying them with debt and then also raising more debt to build the stadium.

They are in quite a hilarious pickle.

CRISTIANO Ronaldo has been cautioned by police after smashing a teen boy's phone on the floor.

The Manchester United striker appeared to slap Jacob Harding’s hand as he left the pitch after his side were beaten by Everton at Goodison Park last season.

He later apologised to the 14-year-old, who has autism.

Earlier this month, the Portuguese star was interviewed by police under caution in relation to an alleged assault and criminal damage.

In a statement on Wednesday, Merseyside Police told the Mirror: “We can confirm that a 37-year-old man voluntarily attended and was interviewed under caution in relation to an allegation of assault and criminal damage.

"The allegation relates to an incident following the Everton v Manchester United football match at Goodison Park on Saturday 9 April.

“The matter has been dealt with by way of conditional caution. The matter has now concluded.”

It is understood that Ronaldo has agreed to compensate the schoolboy's family.

Man Utd bosses confirmed they won't be taking action back in April.

Chiefs are believed to be happy with the ace's apology.

In a post online, Ronaldo said: “It’s never easy to deal with emotions in difficult moments such as the one we are facing.

“Nevertheless, we always have to be respectful, patient and set the example for all the youngsters who love the beautiful game.

“I would like to apologise for my outburst and, if possible, I would like to invite this supporter to watch a game at Old Trafford as a sign of fair-play and sportsmanship.”

He had been visibly angry as he made his way off the turf following the Red Devils' dismal loss at the hands of struggling Everton.

The United superstar appeared to lash out as he headed back to the away team dressing room.

After the incident, Jacob's mum Sarah Kelly said: “At full-time the United players started walking off.

"We were right by the tunnel - my son was there, videoing them all.

"Ronaldo then just walked past, with a terrible, terrible temper, and smashed the phone out of his hand."

She said she was left in tears and Jacob was in "complete shock".

"He’s really upset and it’s put him off going to the game again. We had an absolutely brilliant day up until those final few seconds," she said.

The news today comes amid a difficult few weeks for Ronaldo.

His future has been the subject of intense speculation all summer, with reports he wants to leave United in order to play Champions League football.

This week, former United team-mate Gary Neville implored the star to "stand up now and speak," criticising his decision to wait to tell fans what's really happening.

But Ronaldo has since issued a statement to say "the truth" would be revealed when he participates in an interview in a couple of weeks time.

He added: "The media is telling lies. I have a notebook and in the last few months of the 100 news I made, only 5 were right."

Ronaldo returned to pre-season late amid the reports of his exit, and was subsequently only named on the bench to face Brighton on the opening day.

While he was powerless to help United overcome that challenge, he then played the full 90 minutes in the humiliation The Red Devils suffered in their 4-0 defeat at Brentford last weekend.

They play Liverpool next.

I suppose when you look at it like that...... So what are we worth £5- 6 billion?
We are worth more than chavs given the stadium and the revenue it now produces (now taking us above Chavs on that front). I've not caught up with Global fanbase stuff but they certainly have a larger international following due to glory hunters, which has a bearing, but by how much I don't know.

Again, not knowing anything about them and their other interests apart from Man U, so based solely within the context of them owning Man U, then I would say it's a no-brainer to sell.

1. They borrowed every penny to buy the Club
2. Loaded that debt onto the Club
3. Have taken out dividends, salaries and bonuses ever since to the tune of £1.1b!!!!
4. They have never invested a single penny of their own money. Not to buy or since owning.
5. They have barely spent anything on the stadium (just some corp facilities and maintenance). The training ground has recently had some refurbishment (but club money).
5. If they can get £6b + £1.1b they've already taken out that's fucking daylight robbery.
6. Let someone else spend the money on a new stadium etc....Take the money and run. What a fucking deal = £400m earned per year for 17yrs without parting with a single penny of their own!!!
