fuck thought it was a nightmare with traore and dan james, get up and we are still looking at dan james and traore

man oh man, and then herc with all his usual bullshitting, 'oh my god we might ggett someone big i cant reveal'

a day later, ' my sources are shit lads no one cooming in'

There is no arguing that our forwards are a cut above those of Wolves. But let’s not pretend that Jimenez is some awful player. He did have players around him that should be able to make something of his passes or crosses.
I think Adama's best season in the league, he got about 8 assists. That was pre injury Jiminez and Jota.

Not earth shattering, but not bad either. I don't think he'd be amazing for us, but I don't think he'd be terrible either. Off the bench, a pretty decent option.

The Romero video was made three weeks ago and they release it today. I feel we are done. This transfer window at the moment is a 5/10 that could turn into 7/10 if Spence and Lenglet have an impact on the season. The fact is we have not addressed our major weakness at Center back and are still going to be relying on Dier and Davies way too much especially since neither has brilliant distribution.

The fact is if I was Conte I would be very unhappy with the club because we have done the bare minimum to back him. We were promised more at the start of the summer with the 150m investment, we did not get what we were promised.

We do not have a major weakness at centre back. We have room to add a world class player which we tried to do with Bastoni but he wasn’t available, Conte has been clear that we need to avoid transfer mistakes and not buy players that are not right for us. So we got Lenglet on loan and we keep our CB powder dry for now.

Since January we have spent over £200m on players. If Conte was expecting vastly more than that in his first year then he was not being realistic.

We could've signed muscles ages ago if we really wanted him, it's not like Wolves are desperate to keep him.

If he's on a list, he's defo not at the top of it (thankfully), and so he's not the preferred choice of the club.

Congrats on the worst post I've ever read.

Think this is way overlooked. He'd found his groove as a player, 6g 13a all comps with Jota and Jiminez in good goalscoring form. They proceed to sell Jota and Jiminez suffers a serious head injury early next season. Personally think the idea of him clipping crosses in for Kane, Perisic and Richarlison is a nice option to have from the bench. He skews the odd one over the end-line but he stands up some very good crosses in most games he plays, Wolves no longer have threat in the box to attack them.

Troare is not my favourite but he is still far better than James.

His main use is forcing the opposition back and allowing the team to play on the front foot. It’s noticeable whenever Wolves throw him on the opposition often fall back 10 yards.

His use would be as a tactical sub to push the full backs back but I was hoping we could do a little better.

So you trust Dier, Sanchez and Davies at cb. All three of them have a mistake or two in them. We have not seen this because Conte has simplified what is expected from what he expects from centre backs especially when it comes to Sanchez.

Conte's system also relies heavily on wing backs and even though we signed three wing backs in this window only one is definitely for now. Emerson Royale is still our starting RWB and Doherty somehow is still stealing a living at the club.

So my view on the window is 5/10 because the main thing we did was improve our bench which is important but it is not going to win us trophies.

If I was Kane and Conte I would seriously question if the club was seriously trying to win trophies or just maintain top 4.

Especially with the way we play and hit on the counter-attack

This gives an idea of how crazy the market has become just after covid...

MOISE TRAP

Liverpool eye late £42million transfer bid for Moises Caicedo but Brighton insist midfielder is worth more than DOUBLE

  • 22:29, 29 Aug 2022
LIVERPOOL are considering a £42million offer for Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo.
But Seagulls boss Graham Potter has claimed that any club thinking of a cheeky late bid would be lucky to get the Ecuador midfielder’s boots for that price.

Potter said: “In football you never know, but we are quite calm and confident.

“You’d probably get his boots for that from the chairman — maybe! £100m? They can try.

“It doesn’t surprise me that people are looking at him, because he is playing at a fantastic level.

“He is a top, top kid, a great person, and has all the attributes to play at the very, very highest level.

“But the position that the club are in is that we don’t want to lose him and we don’t think we will.

It’s kind of worrying that everyone on here is talking like we have made an offer for Adama. Absolutely nothing has happened. Not now, not 2 months ago, not ever. It’s like that proverb, ‘crazy people don’t know they are crazy’ on here.

Most people understand that a rebuild of the squad will take 2 if not 3 windows

Conte said similar just a few days ago.

If you think Perisic, Richarlison and Bissouma will be anything but regular starters when we are playing weekend - mid week - weekend then I'm not sure what you are smoking, but its clearly potent. Spence and Lenglet may take more time to get become regular starters but who knows.

And Forster (who played 18 PL games including MotM last season when Southampton took points off Woolwich helping to get us CL over them will no doubt rotate with Lloris when appropriate.

All of which is why most would question your post
