I've hung up my baking gloves, just don't have time any more. Baking was a lockdown project and since everything's opened up again, the mixing bowl and wooden spoons are just gathering dust
TottsAmazeballs TottsAmazeballs - disagree for this? Do you want to go on the naughty step with tart tart ??

Yeah 60s shirts were F..ING horrible to wear ... And damp , by the time you got home they smelt... The current materials arel Wonderful..remember doin tha Annapurna circuit in the early 90s and I was the only one that had Lowe alpine stuff that dried overnight ....it was a blessing. . however I refuse POINT blank to wear a companies logo emblazoned ax my chest... It's took me an age to come to terms with Nike ticks.. and draw the line at discreetish logos, like Nike or Lowe alpine on the chest...

I actually find I kick up a little bit in synthetics. It's strange but if I was to wear a replica shirt all day, there's a hint of a whiff by the end of the day. Whereas natural I rarely smell at all despite being prone to sweating.
Doesn't bother me as I only wear replica shirts to games and only wear synthetics when I run so only for an hour or so a day there. And I shower straight after runs. But it is something I have definitely noticed about synthetics.

When I was younger, about 30, and I wanted to get in shape, I joined a gym and started getting heavily into cardio. I didn't really own any gym gear so just wore polo shirts and combat shorts.
Within minutes the whole lot would be completely saturated and it was such an effort to carry on. It makes you feel sick sick to the core when you're overheating which cuts your work out time dramatically short.

I'm not saying kits are the sole reason, but there is a link between how much fitter and faster all modern athletes are compared to even 30 years ago. Science and technology!
