We won't go beyond that until we get better players than Dier, Davies, Emerson (and I'd add Lloris) to play in our regular starting XI.

We have partially backed Conte, but not yet fully. Fully back him, or it's a pointless exercise to hire him in the first place.

he apparently changed system at chelsea after an Woolwich loss and they benefited massively. as ive said i actually like the system, his hands are tied with dier and davies as there are no better options, the other options are sanchez and tanganaga so i get that for now. its his obsession with emerson that gets me the most, even more than his treatment of son!

how can he keep picking emerson when everytime weve seen doherty (this season and back end of last before injury) he shits all over emerson and as a result the football is in a different stratosphere? its alarming. we are under so much stress when emerson plays, that stress eventually breaks down the rest of the players.

How long do we give conte to sign a new deal. I know we have an option to extend him for a year but do both parties have to agree to that?

Does levy back conte in january with all this uncertainty?

Then there is the kane situation, if he decides he wants out again, conte wont be happy with losing a player like him. The summer could be a mess.

It’s not a media driven agenda about playing crap football. We’ve picked up 1 point from 15 against Woolwich, Chavs, Dippers, Man U and Newcastle and have been utter diabolical for almost all of those games.

It’s this media driven narrative of Conte the serial winner that is wearing a bit thin at this stage. Serie A where he has spent most of his managerial career has been a second rate League for years. Pep didn't even though he didn't have a proper GK or full backs
Poch didn't even do it when we had Fazio in the back line.

How are you meant to get the shit players out the club if you're trying to cater to them and how are you meant to get new ones in if you aren't highlighting their deficiencies? Because it's too easy to change a system for the short term but that doesn't help us for the ling term.

Frankly, I don’t trust in Conte. I believed he was the wrong man from the job Day 1.

He doesn’t have the tactical nous or flexibility when it comes to the big games that one would expect in a so called elite top tier manager.

Which makes no sense because even if that DID happen (which I hope it doesn't because I think it's a huge backwards step) then Poch would have to rebuild the squad anyway and implement an entire new system and players for that system.

His tactics require 2 of the front 3 to be on fire and the wing backs to be excellent. Its not happening right now becasue the wingbacks are average and son is way of form. Hopefully kulu and kane can get something going in our final game before the WC.

hes not going to any of them. bayern means he cant beat shearers record which he will want to do. united and liverpool are shit and years away, newcastle are years away too. if he was going to go it was city and that ships sailed.

When it wasn't working (continuing the shit results from Jose's previous season) he changed the system to his preferred method. And with no Europe they had all week to drill it and won the league. He had some great players to work with of course, and that's mostly the difference.

Just speaking generally here, but any manager is going to have to rebuild our defence, regardless of their system. I think we have a quality manager so we should rebuild the team while he is still here.

7th or 8th? Lucky? I feel like if anything a lot of decisions from refs have gone against us this season. Son has been off form and because of the squad we're having to play him through it. This is what Conte is on about when he's crying out for a world class squad. He is being proven right consistly if anything!

Klopp is playing Trent who if you haven't noticed is an absolute shambles at the back. Don't be kidded - Liverpool have some brilliant players at the back and in goal and look at how much it's costing them.

People also have short memories. The football at the end of the Poch reign was some of the worst. We looked clueless out on the field only surpassed by Poch's same expression and don't give a fuck attitude picked up on our Amazon TV show!
