He sounds like a complete tool. Also littel word for our what was it head of emerging talent...Chris Perkins who quit to join Woolwich... We really need to start trying to get back room staff with some actual love history allegiance to Spurs.

Just thinking if midfielders and have we been linked with nabi Kiera?
I’d be flabbergasted if went for him. All my Liverpool supporting family said take him now sarcastically.
We do t need him anyway we creativity.
However this got me thinking of CMs who would have been easily in our reach , Bruno at toon, Paulinho at fulham and even Philips wouldn’t have broke the bank. He would also had more gane time with us than at city plus HG. No idea why we were t after any of those!
If conte stays its not centre mids we need. We have 5. Keeper centre backs is whats needed

Have you read the article? Nothing he said seems that out of line tbh, he was there watching a young player and bigged him up as a promising talent in an interview, doesn't seem much in it to me. He hardly laid out all of our transfer plans on live TV.

That said, his name does seem to always be linked to some controversy or another throughout his career, so maybe we were just looking for a reason to cut ties. Also, how fucking weird is his career, West Ham to Madrid to Newcastle to Villa to Charlton to Birmingham to us, weird trajectories all round, and there is no fucking way the guy in that picture is 57!

I think it's pretty common for backroom staff to move around with less consideration for club rivalries than players, the obvious reason being that they earn far less.

Working as a youth team coach at Spurs and Woolwich offer to double your money (for example, no idea how much they pay him) then you probably have to accept the offer regardless of allegiance imo.

You scout for a pro team you get clearance for any media before doing it.

I'm not saying he was right to do it, but the headline is way overblown.

Always seems to be pretty common knowledge who scouts are watching at games too, as it is often referenced that x club had scouts at y game watching z player.

Not too sure why any TV channel would bother wanting to interview him on air though.

Yes, Spurs are coming for you: Donnarumma, Hakimi, Presnel Kimpembe, Renato Sanches :D
I wonder what this journo was on when he wrote this article though....

They do need to get rid of some players, we can probably get some of those names if we're interested. Doubt they sell Donnarumma though, and I don't want any of the others (Hakimi because of the recent rape accusation).

I’m embarrassed to admit I clicked the link and read that waffle.

Levy got me real desperate.

I did a job for Spurs, got offered good money six months later to do likewise for Woolwich. .... REFUSED!!! Yes I do want a medal!! "Told them no oil no pharma no Woolwich.:

Somebody said Paul Barber at Brighton is Spurs
He's a lifelong Spurs fan and served on our board and as a executive director (more or less Levy's second in command) for five years between 2005-2010. He was the guy in charge of our brand/marketing and match day experience during that time. He secured our deal with Puma during that time and such.

He left in 2010 to take on the Vancouver Whitecaps job before ending up at Brighton. There was no falling out with Levy just a upwards career move. He could probably be enticed to come back but I think that he would want to be the head honcho rather than Daniel's second in command this time around.
