Someone gotta take a stand.

Dele is the poster boy for this Spurs squad. Even from afar at this point. All the talent, none of the heart.
My point was that the rest of the world can see our player's flaws...you've just said it yourself. But it's hard to have convos like that on a board of happy clappers that keep reminding you how 'talented' players are and they'll get back to their best.

So what I'm saying is our supporters have a loser's mentality as well and Dele persistence with us was emblematic of it. As was wanting to keep Kane over the longer term health of the club. As was pretty much every move we've made since summer 2018. But the toxic support of underperforming or shit players is the worst.

Still regardless of the centre backs , we should be able to beat Sheffield?
For what it’s worth I want levy and conte out this club . As fans we deserve better
For me, I felt that Sheffield Unite away was a tough game. They have some Premier League players left, they were top ( or close to top ) it was a big game with national coverage.

Nothing I have seen in the past 5 years would tell me that Dier / Davies and Sanchez were the right picks when all things were considered, I don’t know why Conte / Stelini picked them three, especially when it was against Billy Sharpe. One of the many things that this club seems to confuse me with.

He can do one as far as I’m concerned - digging out the players - for following his instructions- 11 of our first team squad know only conte as spurs manager - the buck stops with him
How can he give players instructions in the future - his position is untenable - in my opinion

True but he's also telling us and the rest of the world that the players and owners don't give a single shit about the club either.

For that I respect him. Doesn't change how dogshit he has been for us but at least he left outing our fraud players/owners.

I might buy into this way of thinking a bit more if it was an impassioned stand taken by a man wanting to stay and be that change, but it's not. (This is why I said to begin with; it's easy to throw a tantrum on your way out.... And it is!)

He's been saying since December and again a couple of weeks ago; "the club knows what I want and we will see in the summer about my future"....

What is that? .........Antonio?

We've heard every excuse under the sun before today, talk of patience and all sorts; every managerial cliche under the sun (good and bad), but what DO you want?

.........Tell US (the fans).

Perhaps the owners and the players don't care; but we fans do so why not reach out to us? (We've seen Rafa go to 'war' with owners several times; but he makes sure to communicate with the fans and rally's them to go to war with him.... Again; this is a million miles from that.)

Why not throw down the gauntlet in December (if the season and the progress of the club is your concern)?

And he spent the bulk of the rant criticizing the players. A lot of people hearing what they want to hear, but this was mostly aimed at the players and likely prompted by the fact that consistently when we fail the stories are always about ownership and the manager and the transfer budget, but rarely ever about the fact that our players just never seem to give a fuck. Year after year we bottle it, and year after year they just fuck straight off to Ibiza and come back in August ready to do it all again.

Maybe the reason we struggle to offload players is because the rest of the world can see it. Happy to participate.
They're certainly underperforming but look how many of our current and recent players have won league and cup trophies before, while or after Tottenham*. It's much more to do with the culture and limitations at Spurs with than their inherent attitude or laziness.

Bloody hell it's a long list, and this probably isn't exhaustive.
