I’m a cunt and doesn’t support Spurs because I stated the obvious that Mason was champo level as a footballer and Ndombele and LoCelso are superior talents to Winks?
Lose lose situation for me. Mason isn’t ready to step into this job, I don’t care what anyone says. He steps in and we win a few games, then gives Spurs an excuse to go the cheap option and appoint him full time. Disaster written all over it. He steps in and we lose as much as under Conte, then we blow any small chance we have of top 4. There is a no win whatsoever appointing Mason. It’s bloody ridiculous to even consider it. If Conte goes, we appoint the new manager during international break it’s as simple as that.

I think it's hillarous and deeply Spurs that we would have Chris Powell as academy head...but appoint Ryan Mason interim head coach because he is Harry Kanes mate. Its weird. In a crisis you put the most experienced person available in charge until you can make a permanent appointment. That's Powell. It's that fucking simple. I mean he's coached nearly 100 games of football to Mason's six. If this was surgery who would you want? The bloke who has done it one hundred times, or the bloke people like, done five! How has Levy been allowed this much authority for this long he's clearly incompetent

I know what you’re saying but we’ve only got a few games left so if he wins a few games for us, it will be a welcome change. Joking aside, I don’t think there’s any way whatsoever Levy will appoint him as permanent manager. Though I think he’ll try hard to keep him at Spurs, in the same way he must have persuaded Conte to (I’m positive when Conte arrived he’d probably never heard of Mason) but if a new manager isn’t interested, it might help Mason to go elsewhere for a while and see how he does. This might come back and haunt me, but if Mason gets the gig it will be short term and interim only.
And you think LEVY would back Mason to the same tune Woolwich backed Arteta?
