Still think there would be takers for Dier at 20m.The market is fucked as far as selling mid-lower level players is concerned..... It'll remain that way for some time yet too.
Wrong. Its because Conte doesn't have Spurs DNA and managers teams to play anti football. That should have happened 4 years ago. Certainly 3 years ago. And most definitely 2 years ago.
But here we are still with them and it's now 2023.
Then people wonder why we win fuck all.
I would sell him for free.Still think there would be takers for Dier at 20m.
Everton if they stay up, West Ham if they stay up, Villa...
Yes, but can Spurs afford to pay them that much to take him?Still think there would be takers for Dier at 20m.
Everton if they stay up, West Ham if they stay up, Villa...
The contract renewal he got under Mourinho was a real headscratcher. What on earth was Levy thinking? We're never seeing the back of this guy are we? Even when he retires they will be wheeling him out as a Tottenham "legend".
Maybe when Utd and Mourinho were after him all those years ago Levy persuaded him to stay by promising to keep him at the club for the rest of his career?
Sean dyche wouldn’t have him. He requires defensive players who don’t shuffle backwards with their hands behind their back like a crab every week allowing any fool to shoot. The contract renewal he got under Mourinho was a real headscratcher. What on earth was Levy thinking?
I'm sure a club like Everton, Southampton, or even West Ham would like to have him. Just hope his wages aren't too high for him to be sold without us having to take a brutal hit.
What the stats determine as an error that leads to a goal is flaky at best.
No, it doesn't.That shit happens every single match. What the stats determine as an error that leads to a goal is flaky at best.
Do they count the considerable number of occasions whereby a team scores after he backed off and didn't tackle when he had a chance?
Do the stats count the considerable number of times whereby he could step up a yard and intercept a pass before it goes to an oppo attacker?
Do the stats count the considerable number of times he tries a hollywood pass, when he's the last defender, and the ball and 3 attackers come straight back at him?
And most importantly - and this one i know for sure - the stat's don't count the number of times he fucks up but the ball doesn't go in the back of the net. Be that a save from the keeper, or a miss from the attacker.
And he's not getting a black mark next to his name. And MoTD fans see we kept a clean sheet and Dier get's a pat on the back. Drives me bonkers.
Again - not all of his brain farts end up in the back of the net, but he has them. No, it doesn't.
I was wondering who you would turn to/on after Winks left.
If you are looking for a culprit for many of our goals conceded you have picked the wrong guy.
I have watched every Spurs game that Eric has played in since he joined the club. Maybe missed one or two that had no stream.Again - not all of his brain farts end up in the back of the net, but he has them.
I'm there, almost every single game. I can see with my own eyes how often he fucks up.
Are you there every game?
Horrible choice to have to make. But it’s strange how the same people that leap to the defence of Winks and Dier used to slag off players like Sissoko!
I know who I’d prefer out of the three!
Would ya be well?I have watched every Spurs game that Eric has played in since he joined the club. Maybe missed one or two that had no stream.
Dier has been consistently good.
