Matt Law now seems to spend his entire time writing pro-Chelsea and anti-Spurs stories

Chavs might wanna buckle up.... No way Boehly lets them run at a loss forever...........

It's innevitable that big London clubs wil be amongst the most expensive in the country (cos of the London factor) and thus far the dirty money has spared their scum fans such a burden.

I said I would no longer go once tickets went over £50. I eventually caved in.

As it is I am only attending 10 games this season compared to 20-25 in recent seasons.

Doing one one game per month actually makes it an 'event' and I look forward to going. When I had an ST it became a chore. You felt obliged to go because you had already paid for the ticket.
When I first got my season ticket and I excitedly told my mate, a veteran season ticket holder, he said this. He also said "Get ready to start missing birthdays, family gatherings and events", which I absolutely see now. Plus your family start building their lives and weekends around yours so you can be available when they want you. It really is a blessing and curse.

I loved having the World Cup mid season as I could plan a holiday in advance and not worry what games I’d miss!

what’s inflation over the last 12 months since the last renewal letter went out?

That gives them a perfect excuse to put them up. Personally I think the club should absorb that increase but they’ll point to 3 years of losses as well as a reason to put them up. It’s a fucker but they’ll get away with it.

Plus the fact that there's been no increase for the last two years and that almost every other club has has announced increases of at least 5-10%.

I really hope they do freeze prices again, but I just can't see them going another year without an increase, especially with inflation running at >10%.

I reckon 5% give or take.

Honestly, I wouldn’t put anything past them. They’ll go up, I reckon 10%.

The thing is though, I’d love to know what percentage of our profits or turnover that increase would total money wise in the grand scheme of things. I bet it isn’t much.

Absolute lunacy from the miser if he does increase it 5%. It’s such an immaterial amount and it compounds the optics of the current situation with so much negative noise.

I can’t believe any sane person would make such a decision, yet I can imagine him making it based on his heritage.

40K x £1k = 40M, so 5% is £2M. Peanuts. I work for a much bigger company than Spurs in Commercial and we would never pull this lever to increase revenue by 0.5% (based on the knock on effect)
