Fair enough - as I said, I just get that impression from reading some people's posts, but maybe I'm misjudging them. I guess time will tell - hopefully the new guy will do well and those same people will be as gleeful as the positive fans. :)
Nice Post.

I guess both sides of the spectrum perceive things differently if we're honest.

For example, as one of the more vocal advocates for regime change, it always seems to me that those like me seem far more angry and upset after a poor result, whoever the manager, than those whom we politely term 'regime enthusiasts '. To many of us, these guys seem to just shrug the loss off like it's just a minor issue to them and they ain't too bovvered.

The complete opposite to how you see things :roflmao:

I absolutely don't believe we have fans who want the new manager to fail. I accept we have many, many fans who expect the new manager to fail. And recent history fully justifies this when the most successful managers in modern football have failed for the first time in their managerial careers when coming to us.
Yes I agree with you on this, no way, does any Tottenham fan want the manager to fail.
But do we expect them to fail, yes absolutely, because as yet no manager employed by levy has not failed in some form or another.
Unfortunately the club, probably not directly but certainly from a football perspective, is set up to fail continuously through the decisions and day to day running of the business.

I'd be over the moon if the new hire was backed with excellent recruitment and we were a really competitive team that befits the stadium we play in. I don't expect it because of the last few years, but I will happily go from calling Levy a bald cunt to the shiny don. I really thought there was a chance with Conte, but it didn't work. Whereas I never thought Nuno would work, but again I would have been delighted if he did well.

“It is true that Tottenham have a real interest in Nagelsmann, but at the moment from what I understand, Nagelsmann wants to take some time. I don’t see Nagelsmann signing any contract now during the season, everything will be in June or July. He will consider many options, not just Tottenham, and so I think the Tottenham shortlist is not just Nagelsmann, there are five or six names.”
Romano also pointed out that Nagelsmann wants to have power and a good relationship with the board, which could be a potential hurdle at Tottenham.

“At the moment there are many candidates and I’m not sure that Nagelsmann is that close to the Tottenham job because for him the project is crucial he wants to have power, he wants a good relationship with the board so it will take time before he decides.”

Richarlison and Lloris are fit. Doubt Perisic will be out long. Rumour Sess isn't far off.
We also have Danjuma now Conte is gone. Watch him get minutes and probably impress.
It's gonna be hard, but i actually think a lot of our players are capable of digging in now for 10 games.
All of the teams chasing us have to play us too. Normally I would write off any points at Anfield but they're beatable at the moment.
Spurs players will give a massive amount of effort from here in simply because of what Conte said about them. The whole football world is now focused on them and none of them will want to embarrass themselves in front of such a global audience.

Here s how it goes For him a year and a half into his contract and say what the other 2 managers have pervious said . And Him to get a payoff and win trophy's at another club. Then spin the wheel again yawn yawn yawn

Yeah, I’ll be amazed if anything is in place by June regardless.

"I wouldn’t do that. It has turned out to be a graveyard for coaches. Whoever has been a coach in recent years, there is not a single coach who has been able to keep above water. [Except] Pochettino, the rest are all served."

How can it be a graveyard for coaches if Pochettino didn't fail? If it was that bad, surely he wouldn't have been able to succeed either, no? So maybe, just maybe, the problem is the manager? Just spitballin' here...
