I just think that now the media have finally got hold of it and exposed him he's gonna find himself running out of goodwill even amongst his most fanatical followers.

Either he changes completely which is very unlikely as I think the man is a narcissist, or Lewis grows some balls and moves him on. Levy will never resign in a million years unless he's forced to do so. I'd accept him giving up the football side 100% as long as the new Chairman brought in to run that was on at least an equal footing to him. Then Levy could step down from footballing matters and just run the business side of things, but that would have to be definitive with no crossing over at all. A footballing chairman and a business chairman at the same level of seniority with powers solely in their own area of responsibility. There would be no reason for Levy to go to the training facilities or talk to players or manager whatsoever. No necessity for him to get involved again at all. That might work.

Will he resign from his role? Far more likely IMO. Could bring in someone like Paul Barber and be a silent owner like Lewis currently is. The his would be preferable to me than a sale to US investors (although I would like to see their business plan)
You are a silly little troll. Progress until 2019 was remarkable. 19 years of great progress. So at most he’s had an easy ride for 3.5 years. And those 19 years probably bought him a bit of time.

I suspect the defeatist attitude is sometimes coming from a place of insincerity via people who don't believe Levy should be relieved of his duties but don't have the guts to say it out loud because they know the majority want him gone and it's born from almost a political sense of loyalty.
Or, it's coming from a place of sincerity and it's just a defeatist mentality because they don't see how this fanbase will ever be vociferous enough to actually do anything about it (I am sort of in this boat as I believe we have the some of the most placid supporters in the league, willing to take a seemingly endless supply of bullshit.)
I know we can force him out but it's dependant on the majority being united and actually doing something.
