The future is bright, we have so many stars returning from their loan deals like new signing in Ndombele, Locelso, Winks, Reguilon, Rodon to name few.

If we are playing attacking football next season we will need AM’s and we have basically none.

If the club isn’t able to buy CB’s and 1-2 AM’s then we are a joke.
Not really imo, we are desperate for a player of Maddison's profile and indeed a couple of CB's if we want to go anywhere.

For sure. We need someone like Maddison. But I doubt we have the money to get good CBs and Maddison.

Expecting a younger cheaper potential player at CAM

We really don't.

If Kane stays we still have the best player in the league. If he leaves we rebuild around Son and Richarlison up top and a midfield with Bissouma and Bentancur given the lead roles.

We have to invest heavily in defenders and we have to get a coach who changes the pattern of play. We don't have to rip everything up, and the stuff about being the new Everton is complete horseshit.
I absolutely adore Harry but he's not the best player in the league.

And Sonny-Kane-Richy doesn't work, unless Harry plays as a proper 10 spreading balls to the other two...and even then.

But you're spot on as far as the defence is concerned. Unfortunately, I think Dier will still get plenty game time next year. I don't see us get rid of all our deadwood in the summer...Sanchez and Tangs will go, but we'll keep Rodon, Lenglet, Sessegnon. And I'm not even gonna talk about Reggy & the other loanees.

Found our Dier replacement.

If I am reading the stats right, he is statistically outperforming Gvardiol this season in a worse team (Gladbach), but is flying a bit under the radar.

Could be a steal. He's been on the books at City as well so he is well schooled in football. And he is a CAA Base client, an agency that we do a lot of business with.

It’s all very well outlining what we need to bring in but our biggest problem is the inability to get rid of the dross & deadwood that’s been holding us back for years & really has come home to roost this season. We hold onto bang average players for far too long & unless we manage to offload the vast majority this summer, we won’t have the funds to bring in the players that we want as ENIC certainly won’t be putting their hands in their pockets.
Yes, we have loads of deadwood to get rid of, namely Hugo, Sanchez, Tangs, Dier, Lenglet, Rodon, Sessegnon, Reguilon, Hojbjerg, Lo Celso, Ndombele, Winksy, Moura - that’s 13 players. Add a couple more like Perisic for whom the jury is very much still out.

Highly unlikely we'll get rid of them all in one window...heck, there's talk of extending friggin Dier! As far as Sanch, Reggy, GLC and Dombs are concerned, we (well...Dan Dan) will also have to accept a big loss on them.

Not sure why, but I'm not feeling overly optimistic re our outgoings. And the shitty thing is, if we don't manage to ship most out, it'll prevent us from bringing in what we so desperately need.

I want us to buy Akex Scott whatever else we do. Can we start making some obvious calls.
Agreed. Kid is mad talented, loads of upside...and he bloody loves us! That's a no-brainer if I've ever seen one.

But his club will see us coming and as is so often the case with HG players, he'll be way overpriced, like min 30 mil for a kid with zero PL experience.

Unless we can lower the price by selling them Troy and giving them Devine/White on loan for a year.

Yeah, i had the same list but also included Perisic and Danjuma. Could also include Gil as i dont think he really wants to be here and pretty certain he wont make it in the prem. Then you have the Kane situation, are we going to sign Kulusevski, we'd have 3 right/wing backs. Its a mess.

I'm a bit more optimistic on the outs though, Moura, Lenglet, Danjuma gone. Hopefully fairly easy to give free transfers to Lloris and Perisic. Sanchez will likely accept any transfer to get out, hopefully takers for Lo Celso, Rodon, Winks if we bite the bullet with fees. Suspect we'll have to loan Reggie and Ndombele again.

Pretty sure we'll be stuck with Sess, Dier and Hojbjerg though. Just dont bloody hand out any new contracts to them.

Luxury player at this point. At that price, much better to throw £££ at CB.
Yeah 100%. If money is tight, which it'll likely be cause no CL/European footy plus big losses on deadwood, we gotta prioritize GK + CB x 2 (or even 3).

Like my man Shotgunofmichalebrow Shotgunofmichalebrow rightly said, we'd be better off signing that younger Alex Scott kid. The Hungarian lad is class but would be very dear so perhaps we get a loan sorted for someone else.

I think Mads will go Newcastle anyway.

I'd keep Danjuma & Gil. We need those exciting, flair, pacey players. Give them one full season under a forward-thinking manager, see how they do. Besides I'm sure there's a decent deal to be done with Villareal re Danj vs GLC.

At this point, Kulu is too big a cheque for what he's done...terrific last season, God awful this time around. I'd rather spend that dosh on Alex Scott (HG) + another attacking option.

RWB mess - I think Emerson is better suited to providing cover for Romero at RCB and playing the odd game at RB if/when we switch to a flat back four.

I honestly think we could get a bit of cash for Hugo and Ivan - they're still huge names. Admittedly wouldn't be loads but still.

Sanchez will go for 10...15 max incl bonuses. Rodon I don't care if we only get 5 for him, same for Tangs. Winksy might go for 10-15, with him still being young and a former ENG international...I can see Inter, Roma, Fiorentina having an interest.

You're right re Reggy and Ndombs, will quite probably have to be loans again...there'll be interest in Spain and Italy.

And I'm afraid you're right re PEH, Dier and Sess. They've got it good at Spurs so no reason to leave even if they get pushed out. Plus I really can't see anybody offer decent money for them. Unless our football ops people suddenly get clever and ballsy, and find a way to use them as bit-parts to get better players. Sess is a real hard sell, but despite being bang average, I think Dier & Hojbjerg would still attract decent teams in Italy and Germany.

Interesting fact about Maddison. As last 4 seasons he's had at least 5 periods out with injury per season.

Devine on loan makes huge sense. He’s a year younger (Devine Vs Alex Scott), so may have the same level of impact as Scott.

Similarly, Rodon to Swansea for;
