Irrespective of Levy's perceived stance about selling to another PL club, i think Kane will end up at Newcastle.
How many more goals would Kane have for scored this season if De Bruyne (16 PL assists) had been playing for Spurs?Kane got his goals in 3408 minutes and Haaland in 2779 minutes and played 5 games less. City also sub him off because they want him to be ready for CL matches. In 3408 minutes , while Kane scored 30, Haaland scores 44 PL goals. Kane was excellent this year, Haaland was obviously better.
He'd be playing instead of the other attacker , most likely kulusevski, so he has 9 more assists than Kulusevski. And since not all of KDB's assists are for haaland, Kane would have score some more goals but not all 9 more. How many more goals would Kane have for scored this season if De Bruyne (16 PL assists) had been playing for Spurs?
I don't think Haaland will keep up the same scoring rate next season. He's clearly excellent, but he's already been found out and will simply be as good as Kane at finishing, so very dependent on chances in the box (which he'll get, of course). But his outside the box play and assists are negligible. He'd be playing instead of the other attacker , most likely kulusevski, so he has 9 more assists than Kulusevski. Going back to the previous stats , if we added CL into the equation as well.
Kane in the League and CL has played 4128 minutes and scored 31 goals.
Haaland has played 3537 minutes and scored 48 goals. In 4128 minutes he would score..56 goals.
Kane's been great, but its pointless to argue against what Haaland has done, broken records, PL and CL topscorer, while playing fewer games and minutes.
I'm not sure they won't want him. Kane can play with Haaland easy. With KDB showing signs of wear it would be a very clever buy from city.
Its possible. But he is also very very young. As he gains experience , theres no real reason why he would not improve his finishing and be more intelligent with his movement and score more goals.I don't think Haaland will keep up the same scoring rate next season. He'll still get the golden boot, most likely, but I don't think his GPG stats are going to improve.
Madrid possibly yeah, and what a place to play your football. Especially if Benzema goes to Saudi Arabia and grabs the money bags. They may well have to go and get him, but then I've no real clue about young or lethal strikers in Europe or South America as an alternative. Plus they have Endrick on the way (next summer I believe?) so they might hedge their bets there on the young lad with a lot of promise from Brazil. It feels like the only realistic option this window is Madrid, should they decide to spend some money.
I don’t think we’ll even pick up the phone to UTD/City etc.
Salah broke the PL record in his first season too, and like Haaland denied Kane a golden boot in the process. He couldn't keep it up.Its possible. But he is also very very young. Salah's a winger . As Liverpool's midfield and other attackers got worse, hes more involved in creating rather than just scoring.Salah broke the PL record in his first season too, and like Haaland denied Kane a golden boot in the process. He couldn't keep it up.
No reason to believe Haaland will keep up his current rate of scoring. He scores some great goals but tbh, the majority of his goals are pretty standard inside the box finishes.
He's just a tap in merchant...No reason to believe Haaland will keep up his current rate of scoring. He scores some great goals but tbh, the majority of his goals are pretty standard inside the box finishes.
And why does that mean Haaland won’t keep up the scoring rate? All goals count the same and city are going to provide him with just as many chances. Doesn’t matter if they are standard inside the box finishes or not.No reason to believe Haaland will keep up his current rate of scoring. He scores some great goals but tbh, the majority of his goals are pretty standard inside the box finishes.
There is a media bias when it comes to spurs.
Where is the calls for Saka to leave Woolwich to win things after they bottled the league
If Kane leaves and wins a few cups at united or Newcastle they will say he left a spurs legacy for what some small trophies.
If he goes to Madrid, psg or Bayern thry will say it’s a farmers league
If he stays at spurs they say he lacks ambition!
not sure what he can do to get it right for them muppets in the media.
You're bringing a lot of irrelevant points into this.Salah's a winger . As Liverpool's midfield and other attackers got worse, hes more involved in creating rather than just scoring.
While Kane has 36 goals and assists in 4128 minutes (PL+CL) this year, Salah has 41 goals and assists in 200 fewer minutes and only behind Haaland and Mbappe in the best 5 leagues . As the 3rd more productive attacker in europe, I think hes more than keeping up.
Haaland's a striker. City wont turn him into a number 10 or a winger. He will remain a striker whose sole purpose is to score goals. They have other players for creativity. Not saying you are 100% wrong. but i think its just unlikely for Haaland to not score 30+ a season with City.

I'm not arguing against what Haaland has done. For all the individual brilliance of both Haaland and Kane, football, foremost, is a team game.Kane's been great, but its pointless to argue against what Haaland has done, broken records, PL and CL topscorer, while playing fewer games and minutes.
