Playing attacking football against the likes of Ross County and Kilmarnock isn't really a great selling point, it's the bare minimum expected from a coach with vastly more resources in players and financial clout.
Poch did a lot more than De Zerbi. De Zerbi took over a Brighton Potter team that was playing fantastic and looked like it was fighting for EL or even CL at the start of the season. De Zerbi has done well to maintain and continue that. Poch made Saints from a weak looking side into a proper hard team similar to the job Potter did with Brighton.
Interesting that Brighton wanted Poste before De Zerbi so if you are happy going after De Zerbi then you should be happy with this.
Ange is a good manager, strong minded which is what we need with the current crop, hopefully he can unearth some gems from Asia too

this is actually really funny... i remember the celtic supporters saying this shit! truth is going through this thread 90% of you are fkn clueless on what constitutes a good manager. Every manager is a risk!! Poch won fuck all at spurs, morine was useless with garbage football and with his personality when results were poor he imploded, conte was half decent but ultimatley a flop and also imploded because of his personality.

you need to dig a little deeper and see whats under the surface of a manager ie.. personality, hunger, what drives them, resolve, football philosophy, how much belief they have in that philosophy, has it served them well upto present moment, how they will react when results dont go their way, do they tend to make excuses.
Research what players and coaching staff have to say about them, watch press conferences.
DO NOT CAST JUDGEMENT just because they havent managed in the EPL !!!

Celtic have won how many of the last 15? How many have the old firm won in the last 40 years? How much further has the Scottish League fallen while the old firm get European football revenues (though not much after Xmas) .

You would put him into an environment where he will be significantly outspent! He will be up against coaches and managers whove done it all, and you will put him in a stadium where the fans have got sick of pish poor football.

Yeah I said Poch did more than De Zerbi, but in terms of how they were thought of at the time it was similar. Was in response to the poster saying Poch wasn’t wanted. Also De Zerbi took over Brighton in September you can’t really say they were on cards for a europa league or champs finish at that point lol. He did a much better job than Potter albeit inheriting a team already on the right path.
This whole Brighton wanted poste before de zerbi is a myth that’s just being posted around this forum as fact. He was linked with the job as being on the shortlist, nowhere was it said they wanted him over de Zerbi, I actually went back to check on this the other week, most reports said he was on the shortlist but De Zerbi was front runner..
And irrelevant to that I have actual evidence of De Zerbi work at a team outside of being the best team in Scotland so no I shouldn’t be just as happy with agne as I would with de Zerbi.

Hatate could easily step into the premier league and be a hit. Good on the ball,scores goals,fit,strong and fast as fuck. Furihashi is another but he’s not the strongest but lightening quick and clinical. Maeda is the quickest footballer I’ve ever seen and it’s too easy for him in Scotland. Also never seen a player work as hard as him. All worth a punt if ange took over.
I’d rather have De Zerbi too but Ange wouldn’t be the worst. He’s a hungry manager who’s done his time to get to this level. Why shouldn’t he get the chance? I never thought it might be with us though
