I can't help but think that some (not all of course) of the more rabid Levy/ENIC Outers who have almost been wallowing in a sort of self-hate in recent times find themselves outside the zeitgeist at the minute.
If we're honest, who ever we appointed would have had a proportion of naysayers - Poch and the idea that second spells never work out well, Luis Enrique hasn't managed a club team for ages and even then it was Messi making him look good, Nagelsmann was a loose cannon, a bit of a weirdo and would have left us sharpish as soon as a bigger outfit lifted its skirt, Potter was another Chav reject, Brendan Rodgers was... well... Brendan Rodgers.
I'm not looking to excuse or deflect from our Chairman's appalling stewardship for a single second. It's just that the story of the day is a new and seemingly hugely likeable face in charge of the team who is known for his attacking philosophy. For me that's enough to press pause on angry fist-shaking, however temporarily, and dare to feel a little bit good about your team for a bit.
Fast forward to the start of August, Harry's about to leave and no one of note has been signed and the howling and gnashing of teeth will be fully justified, but as Doris sang, the future's not ours to see.

Surely even the most rabid need to wait and see what kind of team the club puts together for Postecoglou.
At the very least they have delivered on the promise of an attacking coach.
If they instantly cripple him with more average players like Pickford and Maguire then probably it won;t take long until Levy starts to hear it at the stadium again.
But for now there is fuck all reason to not have good vibes.
