I don't know if I would really.
It's a difficult one to ponder even, because I reckon it's practically impossible that we could navigate a path to a CL win whilst also being that bad in the league, the Europa win stretches credulity to it's limit, but remains just within the realms of possibility due to the opposition involved.
There's no way that happens in CL, realistically the odds of us doing well in that next year are much better if we are actually playing well and getting results in the league.
However, as a pure hypothetical, I still think I'd lean towards no, because it's a whole season of being beaten down by Spurs in the 38 domestic games. This season has ground me down to complete apathy, and I don't like feeling that way, it's worse than coming away from a defeat infuriated. Unlike our players, I can't just switch that on/off for different competitions.
What does CL really mean to me if it doesn't come with the feeling that Spurs are the best team in Europe? You can't delude yourself into believing that if you finish 17th in your domestic league.
