Ended up doing more forward work for us because none of our other CMs could do it. Hard to tell because we have only seen all of our CMs in double pivots.
From what I can tell both of Postecoglou's 8's are more 8/10 than b2b.
Bissouma and Sarr seem the most likely to have the skills to play in the 8. Hojberg is too limited in tight spaces, just not a great fit for a possession team.
Kulu and Ndombele seem shout for the more advanced of the 8's maybe. Reckon we will def bring someone in for this role.
Also agree, 50m for Maddison doesn't make sense.
