Good thing about Mason apparently is that he’s strong coaching things that Ange isn’t so great at in terms i of off ball stuff.

Why?
Does it, how? This starts to come off as Levy asking coaches to keep Mason on the staff.
Most likely...It could be that Mason is also a good coach and Jose, Conte and Ange were all impressed
AH, so you think Mason is a 'spy'? Right, ok!but really need to remove any side channels of info from the changing rooms to Levy.
Or Mason will try to Winks, Dier and Davies in the team again due to being friends?Mason being kept means he can at least tell him that:
Lloris
Forster
Dier
Sanchez
Sessegnon
Davies
Tanganga
Are totally finished here

It does, luckily I have them on ignore, because they totally ruin threads.
Celtic fan here and as much as it pains me to say it, you have landed an absolute top coach and manager. He arrived in Scotland on his own and everyone was saying who the fook is this guy? When he arrived we were in an absolute mess, had lost the league by 25 points and lost our best players like Édouard and Ajer. After a sticky start we started racking up the wins as the players got used to and adapt to his style. What you can expect is a 4-3-3 with three dynamic central midfielders who are all box to box, I doubt he will go for a player that simply is a water carrier although this may be required in the EPL. He plays with inverted full backs and two of the midfield three offen drift wide with the wingers pushing more central. Expect your wingers to score a lot of goals by drifting in to the back post. He also defends from the front. The striker is expected to press defender and goal keeps at all times. This may also have to change if Kane is still at the club. He absolutely does not accept playing long ball football, even from at the back. This can lead to some hairy moments as all of the back four are expected to play the ball out from the back even in the tightest areas
Every player will get a clean slate but if they do not buy into his style or simply can't, they will be shown the door. They also have to run themselves into the ground, this will undoubtedly lead to some snapped hamstrings in the first six months, this I can guarantee. His We Never Stop mantra is very much true. It's a demand players run themselves into the ground
He's is incredibly passionate and a true leader. He also has a fantastic eye for a player, the first two player he tried to sign for Celtic were Kyogo Furahashi and Kaoru Mitoma although Mitoma chose Brighton. He isn't interested in players just because of their name, they must be able to play and buy into his system and also be a good fit for the squad. The central defenders have to be able to pass the ball well.
I think it's a great appointment but you must give him time as it will take time for the players to adjust, especially after playing under Mourinho and Conte. It will be interesting to see Angeball in the EPL. One thing for sure is you won't see boring football
PS don't dare think about taking Kyogo as well
Mason’s still only 31. He could easily stay with Ange for a few years, and still be a young coach going into his first job in his late thirties.
I’m not really overly comfortable with people trying to tell other people how to deal with their careers. Mason will know what’s best for him, and maybe even more crucially, his family.
Mason is Spurs so he can learn off Ange. This, 100% this,
People trying to say Mason should do this or that is starting to get on my DD tits.
He's young, has plenty of time and is clearly keen to learn. When he deems he's ready to go elsewhere to earn his 'spurs' so to speak, then I'm sure he will.
Yeah fair enough.Mason’s still only 31. He could easily stay with Ange for a few years, and still be a young coach going into his first job in his late thirties.

Yeah, and Alli while you're at it!Mason being kept means he can at least tell him that:
Lloris
Forster
Dier

Sessegnon
Davies
Tanganga

Considering I barely knew his name a week ago I’m pretty certain he will be mega busy these next 3 weeks studying videos and reports etc assessing players and the prem lge etcHow is this cunt on holiday for the next three weeks?
Surely a weekend city break to Paris would have been sufficient. Lazy fuck could have squeezed in some scouting while he was there.
Bill Nic would have made do with a day trip to Clacton.
I am far from convinced that Mason isn't part of our problem.Mason staying is huge for Ange! No better person to help him understand the league and players.
Ange wants to create a new environment with the club, but it will be incredibly helpful for him to have some one that knows what’s worked and not worked previously with the squad and also coaching tendencies for 16 of the 19 teams that we’ll be playing.
makes me think why the bigger names didnt want to come, its all unravelingI am far from convinced that Mason isn't part of our problem.
Mason's mates? Playing the same outfit that we knew didn't work time after (admittedly limited) time?
Serious question: How is anyone convinced that he's going to accelerate Ange's effectiveness?
He may not be ready for a top job but mason showed plenty of energy and ideas as well as the gumption to changes things mid game. Thecmason mates jibe is lazy, cliched and does not bare scrutinyI am far from convinced that Mason isn't part of our problem.

Nope. As Chairman I'd like to think I'd trust all of my staff, until they give me a reason to not trust them. At least that's how I manage any team that works for me.Why tin foil hat?
Reality is Mason and Levy clearly have a very strong relationship. Levy is the type of man who wants to know everything going on inside the changing room.
How would you expect that to go?
I’d be surprised if a lot of Chairmen don’t like to keep staff they trust in each coaching staff… wouldn’t you?
And there we have it. Anyone who doesn't profess a hate for Levy is labelled as pro Levy. You're arguing with a Levyologist.
Best not too.
They make it personal and it's like wrestling with a chimney sweep.
£30 million and you can have him
