Following a season-long spell at Tottenham Hotspur, Barcelona defender Clément Lenglet is ‘in no man’s land’.
That’s written by Spanish outlet Marca, who claim the 28-year-old is ‘waiting for news’ on his future.
Last week, Tottenham announced the end of his loan at the club, not leaving any signs that they’d make a move for his permanent stay.
In his season with Spurs, Lenglet made 35 appearances, and was a starter in most of their Premier League campaign.
Barcelona don’t have big plans for him, and haven’t even contacted the player or his representative about his future.
Now even though Tottenham made it look like they aren’t keeping him, Marca says ‘some think’ this is just a ‘strategy’ from Spurs.
The London side could be pretending not to want the player, to move ‘later’, even though there’ll be big changes at the club which make it impossible to predict.
Last week, the Catalan media had been saying that Tottenham’s intention was to pay a ‘minimum fee’, so pretending they don’t want him may indeed be a plan for that.

New CB needs to be the best we can get. And possibly one more or maybe Royal(RCB) and Davies(LCB) could cover in extreme cases.
I put Lenglet in but not particularly a fan but if we getting rid of so many at the back would make sense to have some familiarity and wouldn't be surprised if we signed him as cheap option.
Maddison could also be an option on either wing if needed same applies to Kulu as maybe an 8.
There would be no home-grown issues or registering this squad
There will probably be crys about our abilily to press from the front but coaching can go along with this and most of our forwards are quick enough to close the distance. Also issues regarding Kane and Sons futures will need to be addressed next season 100%.
With our financial capabilities and money raised from sales this should easily be achievable.
