In the days of VHS, I taped this and it would come out at every gathering our group had. We used to call it "Lots" and we all got a bit emotional watching it. Happy memories.

I remember walking past the Supporters Club at various home games in the early '80s but being too young to go in...
Felt like a mysterious, clandestine secret clubhouse that I longed to see inside, but never did!!

I'm imagining it was either a Satanic Masonic Meeting Lodge...
or a 1970/80's smoke filled Working Men's club, with Jim Davidson supplying the 'laughs', and Chas 'n Dave providing the music.... Maybe an exotic dancer, Magician or a Vent act at weekends...

Half a season with Bobby Mimms in goal fated us to a season of dismal underachivement while Woolwich won the league with a fraction of what we spent on players. Some things never change.
Paul Stewart was actually a similar type of player to Richarlison in that he was able to either play on the wing or up-front and would score the odd goal here and there. I can imagine Richarlison scoring a goal for us in a Cup Final one day like Paul Stewart did:
Venables turned him into an attacking midfielder and that was a stroke of genius. I felt Roberto soldado would have benefited from a similar change of position as well.
It was circumstances that made venables see him as a midfielder,, that pre Christmas match v Luton, 2 of ours sent off, moved him to midfield, scored twice
