absolutely, if you think this is a clip you judge a player on, you need to find at least 10 other identical examples before you can even start to say it's a bad habit.

You’re 100% right.
Being where we are, we don’t have the luxury of waiting until top talent matures. If we do, we get ‘Gvardioled’ by Man City or another elite club.
We do have to hope that these young players with potential turn into Bale rather than N’Jie but they need time, patience and given room to make the odd (inevitable) mistake.
We did it for Soldado and others. However, after last season, I’m just not sure that our tightly-wound fanbase have the patience to do it now.

Soldado getting longer rope than anyone has ever been given would me up to no end.

It should have been obvious Signing a striker that lacked all three of size, speed and strength was and is a recipe for disaster in the prem

A million excuses were made as to why he wasn’t scoring but Adebayor and Kane managed to bang in goals at a decent clip in the same team.

I still thought Soldado was Ok, clearly not a goalscorer but ok team player. Nice touch, could build off him - but like King Kanoute

Bayor scored more but inwould choose Soldado over him

PS If top Clubs Juve, Milan, Inter want to put 50M on the bidding table im sure Daniel will pick up and not let the Conference Meeting Area take the call!
