Poch also built that team from the back and it had the best EPL defensive record two years in a row; whilst deploying a double pivot central midfield which most would concede was rock solid and not overtly progressive it it's ball handling. (Also note the raw, animalistic athleticism of Rose & Walker...)

That's far from what I have in mind when I use the term "gung-ho".

Plenty of managers have taken a lead from Bielsa, but it doesn't take intense tactical scrutiny to see that when Bielsa himself tried to ply his trade in the prem it was verging on suicide on a lot of occasions.

So it upsets you that people are trying to be positive instead of harping on the negatives over and over and over again?

We didn't rip off Shakhtar, they got their compensation, mostly from FIFA.

There’s a difference between being negative while stating facts and being negative while exaggerating most of your complaints.

Kulusevski is big, big money? 25m? Porro we had no choice on. The fuck up was in January.

Whining about no one having ange in the top 5 doesn’t make him a bad choice. Whining about Solomon being free and ripping off shaktar like it’s a bad thing.

CB and being unable to move in deadwood are the only legitimate problems you mentioned. Your post adds little value because 60% of it is purposefully being negative and having an agenda.
