PEH, for one. Davinson (although there may be movement on that now). Perisic. Reguilon. Ndombele. I don’t know if you actually follow the club but we have the most bloated fucking squad in club history it’s absolutely ridiculous.

It’s not bollocks, see:
And it isn’t a negative, it’s a good signing, but my point is that even a success like this still feels quite dodgy and is still tinged in uncertainty and questioning in true Levy fashion.

It is on Levy that he wants to leave though, the situation with Kane is fractured going back to 2021 because of DL’s incompetence. And as we all know it’s going to drag on and on.

Has Levy paid you to gargle his balls on the internet or are you hoping that the pro bono practice will prepare you for doing the job?

Levy can give them the money from Spartak buying Dav

:levywhoa:

Exactly.
Maybe this is why the transfer has dragged on.
They’re reluctant sellers.
Can’t think who else this scenario might apply to 😀?
(Difference being Tapsoba has three years(?) left on his contract).

I think it's a bit of both.

I think we've show interest, the player himself is likely also interested but Leverkusen are reluctant to sell their best and most valuable centre half when they don't really need to. Like you say, 3 years on his deal.

I think there's probably been discussions on price, add ons etc and in typical Spurs fashion, our bid has been way below what they think he's worth to them.

But we can't just buy a centre half for 80 odd million because we need a centre back. That's ludicrous. I'm all for backing Ange, but let's have a bit of realism here.

Posters on here are split into many camps. It's okay as long as it's within the margins.

You really do talk way too much common sense for this forum.

Why?

Do you think Davies, who hasn't featured at all at left back in pre season whether it in training or in matches, would be a starter?
I actually thought some of our best football this past season came with Davies at LB mate.

Off the top of my head, the West Ham-Forest winning run in February was when Conte finally put him at LB to solidify that side. And then finishing the season he was at LB as well under Mason. I’m happy with him there as a rotation option, he’s a great squad player.

At the very least, his presence means that keeping all of our other FOUR left backs seems non-sensical.
