That’s too much to ask. I mean we only have 5 left backs at the club. A completely normal amount. That’s not enough if anything. If he's impressed by him at LB I assume Reguilon and Sess will be moved on.

PEH, for one. Davinson (although there may be movement on that now). Perisic. Reguilon. Ndombele. I don’t know if you actually follow the club but we have the most bloated fucking squad in club history it’s absolutely ridiculous.
It’s not bollocks, see:
And it isn’t a negative, it’s a good signing, but my point is that even a success like this still feels quite dodgy and is still tinged in uncertainty and questioning in true Levy fashion.
It is on Levy that he wants to leave though, the situation with Kane is fractured going back to 2021 because of DL’s incompetence. And as we all know it’s going to drag on and on.
Has Levy paid you to gargle his balls on the internet or are you hoping that the pro bono practice will prepare you for doing the job?

More concerned about the abuse he’s likely to get on the pitch — although our ‘fans’ have probably conditioned him to it.By that metric, then no one should join an English club or go to America for what happened in Iraq, or go to Saudi for what is happening in Yemen. Or is it only the Russians that this applies to?
It's because they rely on pessimistic speculation and when they get called out for it , they have no answer except to insult and fall back on "Levybot etc".
According to all reports..
Exactly.
Maybe this is why the transfer has dragged on.
They’re reluctant sellers.
Can’t think who else this scenario might apply to?
(Difference being Tapsoba has three years(?) left on his contract).
If he is impressed by Davies at LB, this is gonna be a loooonngggg hard season.
5. But they only half as Good as the Best. Does that make 2½ LBs?That’s too much to ask. I mean we only have 5 left backs at the club. A completely normal amount. That’s not enough if anything.

Whether Tottenham would pay the fee on Bastoni is irrelevant. He said he wasn’t leaving. Not getting him had nothing to do with the fee.
Posters on here are split into many camps. It's okay as long as it's within the margins.Posters on here;
"Cracks appearing, not happy, frustrated, won't put up with Levy's shit"

You really do talk way too much common sense for this forum.I think it's a bit of both.
I think we've show interest, the player himself is likely also interested but Leverkusen are reluctant to sell their best and most valuable centre half when they don't really need to. Like you say, 3 years on his deal.
I think there's probably been discussions on price, add ons etc and in typical Spurs fashion, our bid has been way below what they think he's worth to them.
But we can't just buy a centre half for 80 odd million because we need a centre back. That's ludicrous. I'm all for backing Ange, but let's have a bit of realism here.
Not sure either of those countries are great either from a racism point of viewRather we took £10m and he went Spain or Turkey than £12m and Russia. Can’t send him there, would be so wrong.

Yep,
I actually thought some of our best football this past season came with Davies at LB mate. Why?
Do you think Davies, who hasn't featured at all at left back in pre season whether it in training or in matches, would be a starter?

Well he's coming from the Scottish Premier League, Carter-Vickers is like Ramos over there, I assume Davies would be like Cafu.If he is impressed by Davies at LB, this is gonna be a loooonngggg hard season.
