He pretty much ruled out a start for Micky as he hasn't had much of a pre-season or enough minutes.

Looking forward to this, obviously. If nothing else will enable me to set some realistic expectations for the season ahead. I refuse to be a doom merchant, but first to admit I’m fully onboard the Ange hype train and need to see some evidence to keep me grounded. First chance to see the team set up, and against opposition that will be operating at a typical level for the prem. I think Ange will use the Kane situation to fire them all up, so tonight I’m saying 2 - 3; 1 for Maddison 2 for Richie. Hopefully.

Son LW hasn't been effective for the last year, and it will be even worse without Kane to create chances for him.
Ange likes his wingers to hug the touchline but Son wants to come inside.
And moving him inside means we can add more creativity/balance at LW with Perisic or Soloman.
Son is our best finisher by a mile - time to try him at centre forward.

Our pre season showed me how bad our defence is, so I think we are losing this 2-1, we can't defend.
