I'd say he could play in similar way to Bernardo Silva at City, who even though not a winger, does play on the right for them, or sometimes in an 8 role. Kudus is a really good dribbler.

But he's not a winger we need in this system.

He'd be competing with Maddison as the 8 almost exclusively.

The likes of Doku, Solomon, Nico Williams etc are the right profile for what we need. Not Kudus. And I like him.

He wants a release clause

No-one's "pretending" anything; but you seem oblivious to the connotations of the tweet you posted and what your re-post suggests of your opinon.

..............Not a million miles away from when you quote me and use it is a platform to say something else.

Hardly a cardinal sin; but no-one's to know that you're on your own tangent, mate.
I would have wanted Caicedo or Rice if either had been open to the move, but it was unrealistic.
Thus I think targeting a few quality signings between 40m-60m makes sense for rest of window.

Atm we’re still on -£2m net spend on new players. Rivals spending hundreds of millions.

I responded to your silly conspiracy about purposely not selling players to avoid spending.......

What do you want me to say if all you respond with is a generic Levy-moan that doesn't do anything to substantiate your OG claim?

Fact is, there is nowhere near enough movement on the same deadwood in the squad that have outlived 4 managers now.

Enough is enough.

Sell them or take the loss and cut them loose. The squad needs a full rebuild. Ange has had a look, the tour ended and the season started but they are still here preventing the club from bringing new players in…

Regardless of any line in the sand that you (as a fan) wished to draw; you may have convinced yourself that's what's happening, but the simple fact is we have 2 1/2 weeks left to complete our business.

[ Alan shrugs shoulders........ ]

I didn't contest the idea that we should sign more players.
