All budgetary bollocks aside for a moment and knowing what we already have in our ranks......

If Levy gave you 60m right now and said go buy me one of Eze or Tapsoba; who would you choose?
Tapsoba.

I don't rate Eze that highly- but nonetheless, it SHOULDN'T be a choice between a top CB and RW. We should definitely be able to afford 60m on a CB and RW.
I'd personally prefer Doku or Palmer than Eze.

Think some people are underrating Eze. Suffered an achilles injury at the end of his first PL season and took about a year to get back to his physical level, looks incredible now and has high goalscoring potential. Think you'd be signing a player who's primed to have at least 3/4 great seasons in the coming years and ready to hit the ground running. Kinda wonder where he'd play in our team though. Him or Doku would be very exciting signings, with Doku you have the concerns of muscle injury and end product (which I'd expect to improve, to be fair).

I very much welcome an explanation of how the Bosman ruling and European regulations will prevent the existence of a closed system ESL.
The big hammer is the ability to ban ESL players from participation with their national teams and thereby the World Cup.

Keeping the LIV golfers out of majors was that same leverage point.

The next ESL either needs FIFA's blessing (always available for the right price), or needs to have allies extensive enough to essentially re-launch the World Cup under its own aegis. The former seems the likelier, but FIFA views the ESL as a threat to its authority and rightly so.

Tapsoba all day long .. Right now we really only have 2 Key CB's Romero and VDV ... (sanchez prob best as the 4th , in terms of back up)

Allows us to get rid of Tanganga and Dier off the wages too without concern, in regards to back up.

Where do you have that 60 fee from? If Tapsoba was truly available for 60m I think we would have come up with an acceptable financial package. Leverkusen are likely asking for something around 100m, and whilst some around here would call that ambition, I would call it stupid

Paratici resigns. Meaning he cannot be our director of football, just a scout in the shadows.

Paratici resigns because his ban from worldwide football activities was upheld by FIFA.

.........Yet is openly doing work on behalf of Spurs.

Because:

Paratici has appealed the ruling and has seen his punishment partially reduced. While he is still banned from entering dressing rooms and negotiating with players or agents, he is now free to attend training sessions and perform administrative work behind the scenes.

You're having a mare...... Everything I contradicted your over; I am correct about.

Fab is not banned from the sport.
Fab is not a "criminal"
Fab is not in prison.

Let's move on.
