And what's really odd is that many of the player purchases didn't really match with either of the coaching tactics well, or were a good match for them.

The youth signings during his time have certainly up-ticked hugely as well, not sure he gets those credits, but does for facilitating that budget in the overall.
Levy is the one who wanted Conte.
I think Levy wanted a trophy manager and likely Conte, but Paratici had the connection and is what probably convinced him to join. He jumped off the bench during that United game and about three days later Conte was on his way.
Just to be clear, I’m really not criticizing Paratici. My comment was a little tongue in cheek.

Paratici was caught cheating FFP. Our own government is trying to get Man City off the same charge.
Joking aside, what Paratici did was get caught. They are all doing similar things behind the scenes, he just wasn't careful enough. Just like Big Sam, he got taped and screwed.
I don't think this warrants anyone getting emotional over. It's a white-collar crime and I don't see any victims.

FP has been amazing , people may cry and moan about him and be "crying karens " , but he has brought in top class talent and in addition ones under the radar, exactly what we've been requiring or any top team in fact
