So sad he is badly injured, so many haters in here and in general for him , but he is class and is a great provider of assists, on the bench to come he was fantastic

He has now undergone that surgery in Innsbruck, Austria, and will now commence a period of rehabilitation, however he is expected to be sidelined for the remainder of the season.

Shame as he's technically excellent at crossing.
Really think we missed this guy on Saturday. He has been a fantastic impact sub and offers something different in the closing stages of a game when we are hunting for a goal.
We had them penned in and Richarlison in the box. I like Solomon but his natural extinct is to keep ball at feet and cut inside.

"Yeah, disappointing - firstly for Ivan more than anything else. One of those innocuous things that can happen sometimes. He got a pretty significant injury from training," Ange Postecoglou said at the time.
"Disappointed for him because, and I've only worked with him a short time, but you can see why he's played at some of the world's biggest clubs in the world and why he's maintained such a level of performance for so many years. He's the ultimate pro in the way that he trains and presents himself.
"And it's disappointing for us because he's been a really important part of what we've done so far. We don't have a great experience in the group and he's one that does have that level head and he's been pretty significant in our games so far and in big moments.
"So like I said, disappointed for him and disappointed for us in terms of what we're trying to build. He's very strong willed and I've got no doubt he'll come back for club and country and get back to the levels he showed before he got injured."

Tottenham Hotspur star Ivan Perisic has posted an encouraging update about his recovery from injury. The Croatian suffered a complex anterior cruciate ligament injury in his right knee in September.

Hope we can see him at least once more in Lilywhite.
In a game such as Wolves having the option to bring him in for the final 20 would have been really helpfull. I actually like Gil, but for games lile this having his experience coming on would have been helpfull I think.

Disappointing he didn't get the opportunity to play more alongside Richarlison. Makes a huge difference having someone to attack his crosses.
We've really missed his presence since the injury. No one has nailed down that left wing spot.

Wild expectations but, ok.
He had 8 assists in the Premier League last season.
Even with Andy Robertson, Bruno Fernandes, and Christian Eriksen.
One less than Trent Alexander-Arnold and James Maddison, and one more than Jack Grealish.
I thought I'd seen he'd already done a deal (maybe unofficially) to go home. I only think this because I seem to remember rueing the fact I won't see him turn out for us again.
There's always room for an Ivan in your squad.
