Total class if played in the right position.

Its a major opportunity for Gil to potentially seize upon. And let us hope he takes it with both hands. It's typical spursy. Hurts Ivan obviously and us but particularly Richarlison.
Ange will earn his corn getting us over this hurdle.

For me its:We still have the options of:
LW: Son / Solomon / Richy / Gil / Jonson (?)
ST: Son / Richy / Veliz
RW: Kulu / Jonson / Solomon / Gil
The rest is a matter of Ange cookery.
I would LOVE for that club to be Spurs. He brings so much qualty to the team. There is no one else in the squad except Hugo who can bring more experience.![]()

Tottenham Hotspur star Ivan Perisic has posted an encouraging update about his recovery from injury. The Croatian suffered a complex anterior cruciate ligament injury in his right knee in September.

"Yeah, disappointing - firstly for Ivan more than anything else. One of those innocuous things that can happen sometimes. He got a pretty significant injury from training," Ange Postecoglou said at the time.
"Disappointed for him because, and I've only worked with him a short time, but you can see why he's played at some of the world's biggest clubs in the world and why he's maintained such a level of performance for so many years. He's the ultimate pro in the way that he trains and presents himself.
"And it's disappointing for us because he's been a really important part of what we've done so far. We don't have a great experience in the group and he's one that does have that level head and he's been pretty significant in our games so far and in big moments.
"So like I said, disappointed for him and disappointed for us in terms of what we're trying to build. He's very strong willed and I've got no doubt he'll come back for club and country and get back to the levels he showed before he got injured."

Hope we can see him at least once more in Lilywhite.
Criminally under-rated for us, IMO.I would LOVE for that club to be Spurs. He brings so much qualty to the team. There is no one else in the squad except Hugo who can bring more experience.

Wild expectations but, ok.
I thought I'd seen he'd already done a deal (maybe unofficially) to go home. I only think this because I seem to remember rueing the fact I won't see him turn out for us again.Disappointing he didn't get the opportunity to play more alongside Richarlison. Makes a huge difference having someone to attack his crosses.
We've really missed his presence since the injury. No one has nailed down that left wing spot.
Hope we get to see him again. Have a feeling he will be away back to Croatia in January.
