Look; my point here isn't to just idly trash Poch. The fact remains; regardless of who replaced him, the circumstances of his exit have nothing to with whom came next.

Davis, Trippier, Son, Alli, Wanyama, Toby, Moura who did he improve? All those I just listed plus Kane, Verts, Rose, Dembele, Hugo, Winks, Eriksen, Sissoko.

Like I said after all he achieved he had credit in the bank (with me anyway) I was prepared to go through a bad season and stick with him. The managers we've had since have been short term and hated.

Literally none of those that went on record to say that he was key to them coming here....... All of which were signings that were made when he had earned more clout a the club.

Trippier's comments for starters, Sissoko's comments... The absolutely stinky attitude that was visible on the pitch in games like Brighton 3-0........... Which in turn back up the rumour mill that that has walking round with the hump all summer and spending less time on the training field - rather than leading the way to helping his players to get over the CL disappointment. You don't think his pre-CL waffling about leaving didn't leave a mark on the players too?

No it was very weird. Sacked too late to matter (he needed to be sacked about 1-2 months prior) if we had any hope of top 4 but instead sacked a few days before a final, a final he got us too. I wanted him gone but the timing was bizarre.
