Also be interested how much of that is the owners “loaning” money to the club - which will never actually be repaid and obviously isn’t actually debt.
F’Gallagher - for two reasons
1. Whole family are huge Blue Scum supporters - Came up through their academy - Been their captain this season - Don’t need his kind at our club. F’him. And if he’s not a Judas scumbag, he won’t play for us in any case.
2. Don’t want to help bail Blue Scum out of their FFP problems - Let them face the FFP sanctions and take their medicine - We shouldn't be helping them out - like Red Scum and ManU with their idiotic Havertz and Mount overpriced purchases that gave Blue Scum a lifeline in the summer. 50M+ as is being reported in the press is way way too much if they need FFP relief. Let them rot.

He's already 24 years old( just 3 years younger than Højbjerg) so he's not really talent anymore but should be close to fully developed/matured as a player. And he's yet to become a regular.
And Napoli just sold Eljif Elmas so they're looking for a replacement.
Really not convinced any of these links to Hojbjerg are genuine. Looks to me like there’s no one who wants to pay money for him(can understand it) and his agents are planting these links to try and get a bite from someone. Feels similar to when Tanganga got linked to all those Italian clubs for ages.
Spot on! His not even that good. Botegate is gonna ditch him for Philips most likely. I’d rather add another 10 get eze! His the one. Add a decent CB and striker then get a LB in the summer and we’d be cooking.

Perhaps not crucial to your point, but I think you're confusing the words 'talent' and 'prospect'. The best player in the world could be 30 years old, but they would still be a top 'talent', just no longer a top prospect.

Kid scored 3 goals in a trial game and we let him walk.
Probably had dinosaurs in our scouting dept at the time that decided he was too small.
Was also the season we let Noni Madueke leave on a free (no wonder Poch isn't giving him minutes) and loaned Marcus Edwards to Holland.
