Player Richarlison

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Goals per 90 mins;

2.05 Veliz
0.64 Richarlison
0.63 Son
0.39 Lo Celso
0.30 Maddison
0.27 Kulusevski

Didn't expect Rich to be top for goals per game (as Veliz doesn't really count).
Fair play. Could end up with a 15+ tally for the season which would be exceptional.
Top ten in the league for non-penalty goals per 90, goals and assists per 90, and fifth in the league non-penalty and assists per 90.

Even more impressive since there’s been a big uptick in performance post-surgery. He’s playing very very well.

Nah. He is still a really poor footballer.

He scored a tap in and missed a sitter Kane and Son would have scored with ease.

Easy to see him and Skipp were the weak links in general play.

Nah, I was one of his absolute biggest critics but the improvement to his general play post-surgery is blindingly obvious.

He had some really good hold up play and he won possession in some really important areas. He's not doing anything amazing but he looks competent now. The ball is not bouncing off him anymore and he is getting more confident in front of goal. If he continues in this way then he will become an important player for us.

I've found him frustrating to watch because he's squandered so many chances. But I've always wanted him to come good and 5 in 5 is quality. Long may it continue.

Give it a rest

You need the workrate and intelligence to get into those positions.

Richy was everywhere yesterday. Defending corners and set pieces, blocked a goal with his head ffs.

Was holding the ball up and linking play. The chance from Son was his only mistake in the game and he made up for it with his 5th goal in 5 games

Son could have had a hat trick yesterday but he missed a couple , Richie missed an easy one as well - this is normal though , it’s just we had Kane for so long and we’re spoilt that we expect our strikers to score every chance - it would be interesting to see how many big chances Son and Richie have had and how many they have scored from said chances.

Missing chances that two of the best finishers in the world score makes you a 'really poor footballer' does it now? :gallashmm:

Christ, the extremes that people go to sometimes is just pure utter nonsense

Kane had more than his fair share of misses. Even the very best have their rickets, look at Haaland against us as an example.

The current in form striker in the league missed a couple too, with a tame header and skying one over the bar. That's Solanke btw if I'm being too vague.

All strikers miss very good chances, it's a measure if their character that they don't let it affect them and bury the next one.

The level of perfection demanded by some fans is utterly ridiculous.

Son is statistically the best finisher in world based on xG overperformance and yesterday he embarrassingly fluffed his chance in the first few minutes and was probably indecisive with scoring chances a couple of other times. I remember Kane missing a good number of chances 1 on 1 with the keeper in his time here.

All to say, exactly to your point, it happens to the best.

Sons Xg over performance comes from him scoring a high amount of long/mid-rangers (I'm guessing) he isn't particularly great with bread & butter chances and as a CF doesn't really position himself well to get a great amount of those types of chances either (the way Kane did)

liverpool will drop plenty of points second half of the season, i dont think they look great at all. yea city hopefully will go on a run now if it means the scum dont win the league.

you think either of them are anywhere near their best sides in the last 5 years? i think both are a long way off. city maybe not as bad as it seems once they get KDB back but we will see. gundogan and mahrez were massive for them.
They are losing Salah to AFCON as well. Only 4 strikers left but they are somewhat inconsistent.
