Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

[formation="4123, Lloris, Walker, Dawson, Chiriches, Vertonghen, Sandro, Paulinho, Dembele, Lamela, Soldado, Chadli"][/formation]

As has been said already we need to push on from the performance against United, having Sandro sit in front of the back four is more than enough and gives Dembele/Paulinho the freedom to power forwards; dropping into the number 10 role and playing just behind the striker ( like in the VDV days). If we play this right we could get a few goals...

Look at Sandro....at the ready like a wild cat, about to get stuck in.

Gives me a bone.

On paper it is as good as any team in the league (maybe excluding Man City) and when they all start playing like they can we will prove how good a team we have.
Hi TR, good to see you optimistic, but I don't think that line looks anywhere near as good as four teams in the Prem at least.

You've got a striker that is out of touch, a LB that doesn't want to be there, Lamela totally unproven in the Prem, ditto Chadli, I'll stop there, but I could easily continue :-).

I'd take City, United's, Chelsea, Woolwich's and Chelsea's line up over ours all day long.

It's like this crazy, to me, idea we've got one of the two best squads in the Prem, we simply haven't.

Maybe some of the players will start playing to their potential and then we might, but ATM we're nowhere near one of the two best, and the table shows that quite clearly.

I'll rephrase. Potentially as good as any in the league, but agreed striker wise - we need to be getting Ade/Defoe out and someone younger in who can make goals himself.
