Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I get it, why would a fans of a team unaffected by the rules be bothered by them?

Fuck off with this patronising bullshit.

Spurs have had to follow the rules...... Didn't stop us building our club up.... We just had to do it the hard way...... You're just crying cos there's no shortcut available to you.

The mistake was allowing Chavs & City to get a foothold the way they did; not that we shut that pathway down (reminder, the EPL clubs majority VOTED for this).

If you're such a BIG BIG club like your lot constantly bleat about, then monetise that support and potential and build organically like we did.

We are affected by the rules but as nuch as I hate Levy he spent 15 years preparing for them. We have been stunted many times over the years because we have been unable to spend. We had to sign two players on free in January otherwise it would cause FFP problems. We finished 4th that season 1 point behind Woolwich and were kept out of the Champions League because Chelsea won it. No one was complaining how unfair that it was that we did not get to compete in the Champions League for a second time in the 21st Century. No we were told by every other fan base and journalist that we had to deal with it.

The fact that Newcastle cannot spend the money of the disgusting owners is a good thing.

Used to have some sympathy for the struggling geordies under that fat ashley cunt. Filled up their stadium and took off their shirts no matter how shit they were and how cold the wind was blowing.

Shame.

They can't. Have you seen their match day income compared to ours? It is fucking pathetic, we bought in £45 million in our last season in the old stadium and that was at a reduced capacity.

Maybe they should introduce a horse punching (obviously not a real horse) hospitality section to boost funds!

Not a big club then afterall, I guess.

I guess the counter-argument would be "oh, but we ARE a community club".... "One club city".... "We have to cut our cloth according the economics of the city" blah blah..... But that ignorant notion dies when you sell your soul for petro-murder-billions.

Can't have it both ways.

Nothing wrong with being a club with a big fanbase that yo-yo's between EPL & the Champo (Leeds, Forest, Sunderland, WHam etc. etc. etc.)...... NC don't have a divine right to be part of the elite any more than those clubs.

I'm not gonna dwelve into it too much but in general you won't get any sympathy from Tottenham fans on this subject purely because we as a club have been run very well over the last 15 years and have always tried to compete in a fair way. Yes there have been slight issues with the owners from some supporters but we've stuck by the rules, competed near the top of the league for the last 15 years or so on a regular basis.

I don't buy this 'feel sorry for us' attitude from Newcastle fans when the sole reasons you've improved as a club is because your owners spent what £300m in the space of a couple of seasons?

£100m spent on Gordon and Isak alone? £45m on Bruno? £60m on Tonali? That's only a few of the obvious ones.

Crying because you can't spend anymore is pathetic.
Who's crying?

You deserve credit for the way you've grown without the backing of an oil state. Guess you're just lucky that the FFP rules weren't in place to limit your spending back then.

Which is the point. Chelsea spent whatever they liked with impunity, even now they're doing whatever they can to circumvent the rules. Anything to keep them in the conversation for the top spots, even if their appointments and recruitment goes awry.

Shame.
Of course you used to have sympathy for us, it's easy to pity fans of clubs who're less successful, less well run, no threat. People were happy for Man City when they appeared to have won the lottery, soon stopped being happy when they became a juggernaut.

......Nothing that the likes of Leeds & Sunderland didn't do.

Ashley wasn't so bad......... Look at Reading, Derby, Bolton, Charlton, Sheff Wed.... Ask their fans what bad ownership looks & feels like.

Nah, fuck 'em.

Entitled, overinflated opinions of themselves..... Dippers without the trophy cabinet.

What spending? What the fuck are you babbling on about? We're virtually always the butt of the joke because we're so tight with spending and have been for years - so I ask again: what in the name of fuck are you dribbling on about?

We are affected by the rules. We follow them. That's why we built the stadium and built it in the way we did, to generate income to support the football club. We spend the money we earn.

What a bizarre thing to say.
Thanks for the translation👍👍

Absolutely absurd comment that because we’d followed the rules we were somehow unaffected by them…

In other news, murderer complains about being arrested…

Stop lying.

You don't have the slightest understanding of what you're talking about.

People are not pissed at Man City for winning everything. They're pissed that they've been allowed to do so by ignoring the rules.

They had a cheat code and were allowed it.

Now people have seen the results of that, steps have been taken to level the playing field and that stops you doing what they did, so you're crying...on the forum of a team who have slowly built their club the right way.

What sympathy to do you think you are going to get?!

Yes you can't do what City and Chelsea did. That's a good thing.

The fact is you are still going to use a small cheat code...you'll get 'sponsorships' of 'fair value' which we all know is bullshit. You'll find loans or sales for your unwanted from eager clubs in Saudi who'll value them far higher than most weirdly.

Don't cry on here about the rules when we all know you're a club in prime position to bend them far more than everyone else.

Oh...and your owners are scum.
