Got better as the half went on but just didn’t have that precision and incisiveness when we had the ball. Not much interplay between our midfield 3, with Madders shouldering most of the load; does make me wonder if the Biss-Sarr-Madders combo works best for us, with Bentancur spelling Madders. Deki and Werner largely ineffective while Richy needed to make more of the ball.
I was always worried about Bentancur as a 6. Said it all season when people said he'd be perfect there. His Villa performance did somewhat sway me, but since then he's just been how I imagined he'd be.
He's not particularly press resistant like a Bissouma. And his strengths lay in his pressing which is basically negated as a 6.
He should be competing with Sarr as that 8 and right now Sarr is so far ahead.
Bissouma and Son need to be on ASAP.

Here I am. I can see you've never played as a striker. When you playing against 3 CBs, you going to more likely get an assist than a goal. He's held up the ball brilliantly.
