Diaz is fragile, overrated and also 27 so at his peak and we are seeing his ceiling.

That is a player not worth the 47m the dippers paid even if the melters on here probably think he's god.

Johnson is a player with end product that needs to learn how to contribute more in a team with a completely different style of play than he's ever played before.

He's 22 years old, has all the physical and mental tools you could ask for and has every chance to be worth more than the 50m we paid even if the melters love a meltwank about him.

Hopefully yesterday‘s goal will give him some much needed confidence.

There’s in a player in there somewhere but he looks so overawed in every situation he finds himself in.
 
Tbh Johnson has missed about 3 really good chances and should have also had a couple more assists if it wasn't for poor finishing.

It's so obvious he will eventually improve and his numbers will go up.

Those other wingers will always look great to some spurs fans because they'll only see them in moments and highlights. Not over 90 over a season.
I'm sure there's a few fans that would trade Johnson for Garnacho based a few highlights also

And Diaby another head down merchant. Some of our fans that have been slagging off Johnson were talking up Diaby before he went to Villa. I think Johnson’s getting more grief straight off the bat because he doesn’t fit this boring obsession some of our fans have with this kind of two way dribbling winger type.
