Another goal and assist and yet still some are saying we should sell him?
I come on TFC to be educated about how some "fans" think and it certainly teaches me a lesson.

Uh, that and because there was acres of space all across the field. Go back and watch when he came on. It was when Liverpool settled at 4-0 and got complacent. It wasn’t because of him lmao.

Does anyone actually think Richarlison would have 19 goals 12 assists in the league starting for Villa every week? Or even close? He’s not that guy. Never has been.

This season is the most productive he’s ever been. Mainly because of a purple patch. He is a mid table starting striker, no better or worse than this. Too technically limited and inconsistent.

Not to mention his first touch is ass......not great at hold up play either...awful passer..doesnt create many chances..

Well it was because Son wouldn't be able to do what he was doing in the final third regardless of Liverpool's state.

Why not? He's gotten 11 goals in 1500 minutes. Watkins has got 19 in twice the time. He was getting double digits for a mediocre Everton side.

He's more productive because he got more minutes than last season and is in a better team than the ones he played for previously.

He's shown an ability to makes runs in behind, and get on the end of crosses and cut backs.

I don't really know what more you want. Do you want Vlahovic instead? Go watch his last two games and see how he did.

Richarlison’s best ever season for Everton was 10 goals 5 assists. That’s extremely far away from 19 goals 11 assists.

What do I want? Someone much more technically adept who can control a ball consistently. Not a guy who scores a bit in purple patches and does a pigeon celebration.


He’s a bum. I don’t know how good Vlahovic is but if he can control a ball and hold it up he’s immediately much better than Richy at half the centre forward role.

lol, 10 goals and 5 assists for a shit Everton side battling relegation. That's a bit different to a good Villa team in the top 4. He got 10 goals from 10 xG that season.

But sure, let's get rid of someone who has a proven track record of scoring goals (not just purple patches), is a threat in the box, can run the channels and get in behind, can work off the ball and out of possession because he doesn't have the best hold up play (even though he's improved in that regard).

All to get someone who might be better than him in one aspect of the game.
 
I like him a lot but can understand the ĺogic in cashing in.

Anyway until that happens play him all the time upfront (although I'm scared he will play exceptionally well against City).

He loses possession at an almost hilarious rate for a centre forward. If we can get actual money back for him, do it. He’s not very good.

Weird how much you rate him, lol. Because he’s a scored a few this season? He’s still been poor as much as he’s been good.

Richarlison would never hit 19 goals 11 assists for any side. Bang fucking average premier league striker if ever there was one. No stand out attributes.

I'm not actually against replacing him believe it or not.

But it has to be for someone who's a clear upgrade and a tier above. There aren't that many strikers who fit that for me. The ones that do are probably ones we will never be in for.

I changed my mind now but I even said a few weeks ago I wouldn't mind if Solanke replaced him. There wouldn't be much of a drop off but now I'm of the view that it has to be a clear upgrade with someone who is clearly levels above him. And I don't think we will get that.

He's a solid Premier League striker that works tirelessly and does a little bit of everything decently. If we can get an obvious upgrade in we should of course go for that. But even then I would actually want to keep Richi to bring him in off the bench (just not too late in games like under Conte).

There really aren't that many super prolific out and out nines around right now either.
