I read that as gassed because they're not used to the physical and mental demands of the system and have slowly dropped off as the season has gone on , not gassed because of all the games they've played .

We'll see where we are come Christmas

son captaincy is a glaring error to me as it shows weakness. you may see it as a way of getting them to buy in, but it just shows more of the same old spursyness shit. its weak! its meant to be a new era, you set the standard from the off, its not a popularity business its a results one.

johnson is an horrendous purchase. its clear hes a counter attacking forward, his tactics arent to play on the counter so its a stupid buy! unless hes to have as a sub to kill games off when youre 2 up and the other side are pushing up so you can hit them on the counter...but how about spending 50m on a player that actually fits the first 11 first!

chelsea was complete and utter football suicide. the players arent robots! that would of caused huge doubts with some of them! it reeks of someone who hasnt got a clue. not only did he set them up to be embarrassed, he set them up at the risk of injury, of which VDV fell victim to it. you can not have your defence push up to the halfway line when you dont have the players in front of them to get tight to the ball and stop through balls.

Spot fucking on. If I could like this 10 times I would.

Son captain - glaring error. Lovely bloke, never been a leader. That much was fucking obvious to anyone who's followed his career.

Johnson buy - glaring error. Exactly for the reasons you say - he's a counter attacking inside forward, not a touchline winger for a possession side. Appalling player ID, 50m down the drain and he was Ange's number 1 pick in the summer to boot. I really worry about giving him another big transfer window, how many more of his obsessions will he foist on us?

Chelsea game - glaring error. Playing that high line with 9 men and no pressure on the ball was one of the most ridiculous things I've seen in football, and speaks to a manager who either has no understanding of the game or is so wedded to his beliefs it comes at the cost of winning games.

We were already losing the game at that point.

Recent weeks have annoyed me but albeit naive perhaps, the only impact to us was -2 more on the GD, and we very nearly scraped a point.

Replacing dier and Sanchez for dragusin... I wish that didn't happen.

Still a fan of Ange I rather he play players out of position to fit his high line and if course give more chance to youth

Midfield has been a problem.
Bisoumma I wish he can just rather how he played against Barcelona.

Striker surely we do better with anyone else but Rich like Bebou

Utter shite. Gassed my ass, there may be reasonable explanations but being tired isn't one. Out of the capital one cup first round, out of the FA cup after two games, no Europe, one league game a week at absolute most, the best facilities you could ever wish for to recover from games. These guys are living the fucking life, every day is a spa day at Spurs.

If any of those players are "gassed" after the lazy stroll of a season they've had then they can fuck off out of the door because a season with multiple competitions and games a week will finish them off.

I think the suggestion is, that it is playing a much more intense system requiring more energy, after a few years of bus parking is what’s causing the gassedness.

i dont trust him to spend the clubs money right when his first big buy for his system was johnson! thats a square peg in a round hole if ive ever fucking seen one!

the chelsea game was the hardest watch ive ever had to endure watching spurs! weve had to suffer some shit sides but ive never had to suffer watching us commit suicide. just sheer madness, you cant blame players if that made them lose faith in him! it was the start of me losing faith in him as a fan!

id love him to somehow end up being the next fergie! but the evidence all points towards him being some charlatan thats out of his depth.

unless he somehow adapts and changes things for the start of next season i cant see him lasting more than 10 games.

Every manager has their flaws, no one knows about how Amorim or Slot would fare in this league just yet but you're right on Tuchel, tactically I think he would have got more out of this squad but he would have probably pissed the players off like he usually does so...
They do but I think those managers have better pedigree than Ange. Although no way do I want tuchel who is a dick and basically cost BM the final.

If Kane decided to stay we’d be sitting comfortably in the top 4. And that’s a very good result no matter how you look at it. Even more so in a season where they’ve played several games with no recognised CBs. Need reinforcements all around.

As for tapping around the 18 yd box ..how many times do City do it? And when they were missing De Bruyne they were even failing to convert. Rodri, Foden, KDB, Silva brilliance usually resolves issues quickly. Look how vulnerable City defence looks without Rodri.

Plus we have no bigger targets to cross the ball to or someone who can hold up the ball up forward.

Ridiculous whining and sooking by a minority on here …grow some balls…mate

Is there any real hard evidence to suggest Johnson was his pick, though? I mean, I've seen loads of people saying this but we know from the words of all Levy's previous managers they have very little, if any imput, in who we sign. They tend to have to work with what they're given. He was after all a deadline day deal much in the same manner that Sissoko was shafted on Poch.
Maybe he was, but I just find it bizarre and he would have known very little about the player having never managed in England before this season

“He's a real threat in the front third, he's different from what we've already got, he's young and ambitious. It's no secret that's the model for me.''

That's the best I could find to try and answer your question.

Jackson made it 2-1 in like the 73rd minute. The hung-ho tactics went wholesale after that.
Would have been 9-1 if Chelsea's forwards could finish their dinner.

The fact is we were drawing when we went down to 10. Chelsea had just lost the previous game at home against a poor Brentford side playing low block football, so had we sat back and hit them on the counter they were definitely there for the taking. Home crowd, derby atmosphere, an in form Son on the counter, and they couldn't score for love nor money.

But no, insane high line football it was. Because, "principles", or some shite. Which invited more chaos and last ditch tackles, leading to another red card in Udogie and two bad injuries in Maddison and Van De Ven. Completely blowing up our season. Stupidest tactical decisions I've ever seen on a football pitch.

I'd already seen some red flags on Ange tactically (the Fulham away game in the FA cup was a complete capitulation, going 4-4-2 at half time and putting on Dane fucking Scarlett, what the fuck was that?) but that Chelsea game was the one where I really began worrying he was a charlatan. Pub manager who lives on vibes and half time motivational speeches. Little he's done since has convinced me otherwise.

It’s not whining, it’s seeing it for how it really is. Ange will be sacked In November mark my words. Take the blinkers off, it’s not like this has just started. We have been utter shite for 6 months now.

Honestly some fans on this forum do not have the stomach for when things are going bad, yet you can absolute guarantee that when things are going well they'll be the first to celebrate and cheer the side on. The moaning fans now are most likely the same fans who couldn't get enough of the side at the beginning of the season.

Yeah, interesting. Although it would have been very unprofessional for him not to talk up a young lad who'd just signed for the club I guess. Pretty much as you'd expect. Especially as he'd only been in the job himself 5 minutes.
Just a bizarre situation all round
