Pretty sure they ruled it out pretty early that Chelsea had little chance.

Osimhen wanted Real Madrid, PSG or an English club in CL (Woolwich likely as he's a big Woolwich fan)

Most reports like this one I have seen suggest Osimhen had Chelsea as his number one destination but Chavs seem to be against going for him now.

You have to remember Chelsea and Drogba, for Africans Chelsea is a massive club.

Was the last I saw.

Guess we'll find out. I don't think anyone's paying that release clause.

We had no chance the moment Villa beat us to top four. And tbh, I agree with you that I don't think Ange/Lange would have even contemplated it for the fee it would have cost when we need a CB, full back depth, CM options and wide men first and foremost.

Chill out.

We all know he'd have gone to Chelsea and he'd have gone because they would have paid him loads of money.

CL really isn't a pull compared to getting paid top wages.

Money plus more chance of winning stuff.
Let's get serious here. Chelsea are far more likely to win something in the next 3 years than we are. Just because they usually do and we usually don't.
Even the shit show that is United has won 2 cups in 2 years.
