Think it was you this time last year that was convinced we would sell Regullion at a decent price as he had “lots of interest in Spain” and that ndombele was a snip at our asking price at the end of his loan to turkey

Quite. People completely underestimate recent changes in football over the last 3 years - English clubs have data analysts and no longer make kneejerk purchases from PL clubs for unwanted players (as was typical of Redknapp, Megson, Allardyce, etc etc). Secondly, foreign clubs have f all money
The amount of clubs in Europe that will spend more than £20M on a player is less than 15, so to think we can offload dross for 8 figures (who are on big contracts), is lunacy
Of the two, I'd take Solanke a type pf player that we need.

When do we stop abd think to say hold on we have two strikers at the club plus Dane (who may not be good enough) that may be should give chance first. By all means go and get a real top quality striker and pay the money. But at least have one of own forwards in the squad. So many teams giving their young players a chance except us. I know some will say we give young players a chance but those are mainly the ones we have bought. Keep saying when we spend money we need to buying quality ie they are say better than any of our existing forwards.
