Have to agree. Its time these white boys took some criticism. Kane, Rice etc Especially Southgate. He seems to escape criticism from pundits. They should be calling for his head.

He did his job well in the first game. Had a really poor game yesterday but it was a case of who didn't?

Rice has been doing the job of two players in the middle of the park, as off the ball, Trent is abysmal.

Here we go. Black player poor attitude.

Kane has been absolutely shite. Gets the ball, falls over. Repeat.

Rice was awful last game. Fodens been quiet. Tripper has done nothing. Southgate takes the cake.

But no, its Bellinghams attitude.
whats Skin colour got to do with it? Why are you being a Cunt and turning this into something it isn't?
Bellingham was shit yesterday and i'd be saying the same even if he was bright fucking Green, Kane was also shit yesterday however he scored our only goal!
Rice was Wank , Foden shit - Trippier shouldn't be playing on the left he was also Wank - I thought Saka looked quite lively but he falls down to easy and won't get the same protection here like he does in the PL - One player I thought has been decent so far this tournament is Guehi, looks solid at CB!
Any way my point is stop trying to make this into something it isn't by bringing Race into it, any player can be criticized for being shit so fuck off back to Patagonia with your shit stirring bollox

It's so frustrating that a couple of simple changes would improve the team 20%, and it's not rocket science either. An actual left back playing at left back with Gordon in front of him, and Wharton in midfield who keeps the ball moving positively, would make a hell of a difference. In tournament football, balance is everything, and if you don't have it it doesn't matter how many great players you have. Much lesser teams with actual balance and structure will always give you a game.

We know how this goes. We'll have a convincing win against Slovenia, maybe 3 or 4-0.

We'll then turn on the gas against a Czech republic or whoever and play peak total football. Belief will return and we'll think Gareth has finally cracked it and clamour for his knighthood on the eve of the quarters.

We then get completely outplayed and dominated in the game against someone decent (ranked in top 20) but escape with only a 0-1 loss so everyone says oh we were unlucky and go home in tears.

I don't think it even gets to be that 'good' this time round.

Years of Southgate’s denial (and low key arrogance) is finally coming home to roost.

Someone posted it on here a while back, but Gary Neville very honestly admitted during one pundit session that when he was managing Valencia - the oppo manager made some subs/tactical changes which altered the game.....and he simply didn't know what to do. Was surprised he admitted it tbh, very humble, but so obviously true.

That's Southgate. There's a world of difference between being a player (where most just react to what's happening in front of them) to tactical management. The most naturally gifted and best player ever, Maradona, was a crap manager. Evidentially didn't understand the game at all, was instead a total master of the in game moment with skill of course.

The difference, which makes it worse for Southgate, is that Neville walked into the Valencia job off some insightful punditry and was dropped into a top La Liga team. Maradona got the Argentina job off his cult status alone.

Southgate has the entire FA development and coaching network, support and expertise all aimed at supporting him. How on earth is he still making such absurd decisions and talking about 'we never replaced Philips'. He usually talks like a thoughtful, intelligent man but coaches like a moron. I just don't get it.

Did that penalty miss affect him that much? Perhaps he had a solid low left corner choice then in the run up thought fuck let's roll the dice and fucked it up - ever since has never made a risky decision. Surely England have psychological experts for him as well as the players.

How bad are England at the moment, surely not as bad as the lazy journos make them out to be?

They're pretty bad, disappointing and disjointed. It's still early days and we're basically through to the knockout rounds but it's hard to be optimistic that we'll go much further.

Some other countries haven't looked great (Italy for one) but others have and we look far from likely winners.

Maybe it's a slow burner and our peak is still to come, but reality is we'll go out to the first good side we come up against.

Not to pick on Trent here but he doesn't show for the ball once which is why you don't play a RB who isn't comfortable on the half turn to play in the pivot.

That whole passage of play fucks up because Rice doesn’t take the ball on the half turn. He only cost £100 million, not sure he should be grasping the basics of taking a ball off the centrebacks. Arteta wouldn’t let him get away with that playing for the scum.

Rice isn't the one who normally takes the ball from the CB's anyway, it's almost always Jorginho or Partey or even Odegaard does that, which is why I don't understand why he hasn't put a player who can play on the half turn like Mainoo or Wharton next to him.

Nothing makes sense with his selections.

That phillips statement was absolutely bizarre. The fact he has a player that can do that 100x better but plays him attacking mid while the player that should be attacking mid is playing left wing wreaks of pure ineptitude.

France didn't dominate us at all in the last World Cup. Croatia didn't either in the 2018 World Cup. We were miles the better side in the first half before running out of steam.

We have played well under Southgate in previous tournaments and other than the odd game here and there, it's never been close to as bad as it is right now. The players look clueless and annoyed. It's like the likes of Kane, Foden and Rice have come into the tournament and suddenly had the confidence sucked right out of them despite having brilliant seasons for their clubs. We also look extremely unfit. Why were many of our players collapsing on the pitch yesterday come full-time and yet the Denmark players, many who also play in the PL, looked absolutely fine?

And he won’t, he’ll bring in Gallagher for TAA. It’s obvious it should be one of those two though.

Plus the fact he hasn't played that much football since leaving Leeds , odd making plans for a player who doesn't even play and not have someone already in place to take his place.
