Couldn't agree with you more.Jesus , this video makes me realise how much I love Tottenham, the people the shops, the history. Sure the area needs improvements but I really hope they don't kill it in the process.

It's the same in Islington/Finsbury Park...The area Tottenham is still unfortunately a shithole. I have to travel there regularly and its somewhere where I would never live or be safe raising kids there.
Even the high road which usually is the saving grace of a 'bad area' Is dodgy as fuck. The part leading towards upper edmonton (and upper edmonton itself tbh) is junkie/crack head prossies central.
The gang problems in the area is crazy as well being that Tottenham beefs Tottenham. Take a left off Bruce Grove Station and your in Broadwater Farm but literally walk a few minutes up the high road and the Park Lane/Northumberland Park side of Tottenham have control. That's why there are so many stabbings and violent crimes as the gangs are not even separated by an area/postcode.
LOL. .I work there every week. I'm starting to think a night out with him must be one wild ride!!! I lived in Peckham in the 90's and belive me I know what rough look likes. It's the same in Islington/Finsbury Park...
The Macha Latte and the Cortado gangs are FIERCE enemies .... and that's before you even take into account the Deconstructed Coffee Posse starting to widen their net from Stoke Newington...
It's fucking war over there!
Some of the milk wand burns injuries I've seen are brutal... and do you know the damage a cocoa sprinkle shaker can do to the eyes?
As someone who lives in the area, and has done for most of his life, it's hard to disagree with the above. The area Tottenham is still unfortunately a shithole. I have to travel there regularly and its somewhere where I would never live or be safe raising kids there.

Often wondered, what are the pubs like when there's no game?As someone who lives in the area, and has done for most of his life, it's hard to disagree with the above.
There are though snippets which aren't that bad at all.
Tower Gardens estate - and across the Roundway. (Rivulet Road/Compton Crescent area)
Also around Weir Hall Road, plus Devonshire Hill Lane and beyond.
I certainly don't see myself moving in the foreseeable.
Not forgetting that I can go from front door to my seat in the ground within 20 minutes.
yeh sorry mate no offence intended. As I said, I sometimes have to go there for work and it's not great. As someone who lives in the area, and has done for most of his life, it's hard to disagree with the above.

Exactly like it is on here...
I'm not a pub person, but whenever I past the Antwerp it's always virtually empty.
None taken. The best parts are generally North Tottenham.yeh sorry mate no offence intended. As I said, I sometimes have to go there for work and it's not great.
Even the N15 part of Tottenham is a dump as well. Seven Sisters is decent though.
Yeh also Meriden waters project looks like it will eventually be nice. Enfield Council have ploughed shit loads of cash into that to the point they nearly became bankrupt.None taken. The best parts are generally North Tottenham.
Mind you, The Hale is really taking off. It's like a mini city.
And on a smaller scale to the North East, Blackhorse Road has changed a lot.Yeh also Meriden waters project looks like it will eventually be nice. Enfield Council have ploughed shit loads of cash into that to the point they nearly became bankrupt.
Yep, very solid trade. The only one really. The new Vic owners are very active and have all sorts of events there too.. Both the Vic and the Bluecoats do very well for gigs and NFL

Same but I still rarely go.Wasn’t a fan of the new vic at first but it’s ok tbf.
Not surprised The Ship closed down…

The Ship closed down due to structural issues.. They had been taken over by the Beehive manager so I was hoping for a big improvement. I understand the Elmhurst has been purchased by Heineken so that could be interesting.
