Your NT went out because you lost to Panama. Just fuck off talking about 'easy' draws when you have the most blatant recent evidence of your own nation losing to an 'easy' team. Switzerland are, in reality, a top 15 NT at least, with a core of key players for top teams. They would smash your national side to bits.

We never claim to have the best players in the world and the best league in the world only to never win anything.

Much of this is bollocks.

The fans have caused no trouble (in fact; they have been praised by local authorities).

There hasn't been an upswing in patriotism. Being pissed at Southgate doesn't mean you want the team or country in general to do any less well.

Your point about the beeb getting a bollocking isn't a factor that was brought into this tournament; it only manifested 24 hours ago (unlike your blatant dislike).

.........You're not citing cause & effect; you're just mining for things to vindicate your inherent dislike.

Genuine question: If you dislike England this much how comes you didn't' start supporting a Scottish team in the 80s instead (when you were actually churning out a lot of good players)? ............Afterall, if anything the country was more nationalistic back then AND the fans were far worse behaved (if indeed these are genuine factors)?
I started supporting Tottenham in 1981 when I was 6. I had no clue of how fans behaved. I started to feel the rivalry between England and Scotland when I’d go to Rous Cup games in the 80s. I had no interest in supporting a Scottish club because I fell in love with Tottenham. I don’t understand how it’s possible to support two teams but that is my opinion.

Just because I’m from Scotland doesn’t not give me the right to support Tottenham.

The 80s was as an incredible time for Scottish football but my head was turned by the 1981 FA Cup final. Since then everybody else is nothing!

I said nothing of the sort; so drop the strawman BS thx.

We’ve just had 4th of July. What was all of that about?

Or did the first 180 years of Americas existence not count? Come on…

The English brought the slaves to America. The genocide of the Native Americans started during colonial times. All of these things predate the American Revolution.

Nevertheless, these atrocities are a huge stain on American history. Horrific things.

The English stole all kinds of things from Africa and India. Still, when I say this, I get negative responses. As if… they don’t realize England did these horrific things as well.

You can hate or dislike England all you want. But on a forum that's based around an English club, where the vast majority of people will be English, people get tired of seeing the same old negative shit. And when that shit is coming from people born in countries who don't get anywhere near finals and semi-finals, it becomes a bit of a joke and just comes across as being extremely bitter and salty.
You lot slaughter your team more than anybody else and even when you win 🤣🤣🤣🤣

And all continued long after the birth of the US nation, and was committed by Americans.

Multiple natural opportunities to self-correct, including the writing of a constitution and a civil war, failed to correct many terrible wrongs… despite the fact the colonial powers (England, France) had banned slavery decades earlier.

Take the L on this and stick to football.

......And here in lies the shit side of international football. All the jingoistic, nationalistic bollocks, xenophobia - and in some instances racism - is never too far from the surface is it.

Load of fucking shit.

Sorry, the French wrecked Africa. You’re worse than the English.

Yes they did and it was wrong and the Englishmen who did that in the colonies like George Washington decided to go down a different route with a different system and become independent and independence literally means taking responsibility. You can’t have it both ways.
