I didn't say mine was...but THAT was in reply to a 'cultural institution' point made (that you conveniently ignored) so the reply was about said cultural institutions.

But my 'hate' for the English national team is in response to the attitude of you folks (as if your players were any good) to American players. As a former player myself I like to see England fail so they, you, and your country has to eat crow on these matters...it's a matter of standing and the longer you lose the less you have. I was around when Dempsey and others were here...the hate was ridiculous.

That said, I enjoy some of the individual players and would like to see them prosper. But then the entitled nonsense comes and I revert back to enjoying the losing.

Stop taking cheap shots. Engage in good faith or ignore it.

BTW there seems to be a bit of Rugby on...can I watch it or would I then be pledging my allegiance to the king?

Your NT went out because you lost to Panama. Just fuck off talking about 'easy' draws when you have the most blatant recent evidence of your own nation losing to an 'easy' team. Switzerland are, in reality, a top 15 NT at least, with a core of key players for top teams. They would smash your national side to bits.

And came within a 92nd minute equaliser of beating Germany and topping the group.


It's funny, everyone who is in the anti England brigade is saying how shit our opponents have been and how we've not played anyone decent whilst all the England fans have been sticking up for the opponents we've played pointing out why they're actually very good teams and the gap has closed between everyone else.


But we're the arrogant ones?


I'm not sure what I'm enjoying most......England getting to a third Semi Final in the last four tournaments or the utter boiling of piss and angst it's causing all the England haters in here.
