Richarlison's problem is his inconstancy. In addition to being injured for several games in recent seasons. And of course, right after Kane's departure for Bayern, we knew he wasn't a worthy replacement. After so many years with Kane in attack, how would we be satisfied with Richarlison?

Not shocked by this one but I thought he might get a chance with us in preseason. I could actually see him pushing for it more at this stage of his career.
It’s a nice fee for a player who was never going to be good enough. Hopefully he has a good career.

100% this. We need to get smart about selling our youth players again. He’s been deemed not at the required level for us, fair enough, it’s eight mil of pure profit on the books and likely a decent sell on clause.
Fucking terrible deal for Spurs. We got skanked for such a small fee.
Hope we have a sell on and the prospect of us spending 4x that to get a striker that might not even be better is looming large.
Unless we sign a genuine star striker I'm 100% on the train for signing wing forwards now. After getting peanuts for Parrot, the idea of a Gimenez, Toney, or David level striker for 40m is bleak af.
Smart would have been lying to the acountants that we got £30m like Chelsea would.
He's a lower league player. The fee is right. What isn't right is the BS above that makes the market look so skewed. Teams like Chelsea selling nothing players for tens of millions is faker than Jordans tits IMO.
