Welcome to the first team. We no longer need an understudy for Udogie. Donley has won that position and actually could steal being first choice. He has been that impressive.

Not really.
Capable of deputising as an inverted full back in Europe perhaps but I wouldn't trust him defensively against better clubs.
He has shown off his impressive movement, awareness and technique when playing there however.
Exactly that, I think in the Prem his lack of pace would be targeted a bit if he played full back and it was probably part of the decision to drop him back in to midfield last year so he can continue to use things like his incredible passing without exposing one of his weaknesses. Been excellent there so far though in preseason albeit roaming forward a lot rather than 1 on 1 defending.
Against some opposition, we could use ever-reliant Benny Davies.
Against others Donley.
Whats the issue? Even ManCity suffered when they had Rodri injured for a while.
We will never have two equally brilliant players in every single position. It is a squad game.

Though I don't think Donley has anywhere near Bale's pace! ...but he might yet have the skillset?!
Can be also used in PL against teams that only sits deep in last 20 minutes and are defending for their lifes in such phase of the match. His creativity and vision can be useful to break the lock.
How about you sign someone better than fucking Ben Davies and an academy number 10 to play as backup LB ffs?
